If ye haven't experienced Bryns visions yet, do it! One o the most visually epic things Ive seen!
I love this. It's a gorgeous story. I'm a fan of Bryn Oh's work from Second Life and love this "game" version as much as I hoped I would. This is not a "game" in the usual sense, but rather a game that is actually an Immersivist Artwork. It's a great story that you learn as you wander the grounds and collect pages from a scattered journal. Explore the buildings and area around them, collect the pages to learn the story and bask in this glorious sun. Running through the big field over and over was like a summer day in childhood. I really enjoyed this!

It's exactly what the description says - and an art installation as well. It's a slow journey of discovery that includes some very cool eye-twisting-brain candy. The story provides scaffolding for the visual journey and optional deliberations on technology, solitude, and relationships. Graphics and controls are good enough, some annoying camera glitches. Take it slow, enjoy the exploration, and don't dwell on the imperfections.
Lobby Cam by Bryn Oh is a beautiful melding of storytelling and artwork. At first simply a pretty space to explore, but slowly evolving into an interesting story. Piecing together someone's inner thoughts, by exploring the odds and ends find in their private spaces. It is subtle, and the more you look, the more you start to know about these characters you never actually meet. Beautifully done, Bryn!
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. (John 3:16-17)
THERE IS ONLY SALVATION IN CHRIST JESUS

WE ARE ALL SINNERS AND SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD
For “ALL” have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
WE NEED TO REPENT FROM OUR SINS
He who covers up his sins will not prosper; but he who confesses them and turns away will obtain mercy (Proverbs 28:13).
JESUS CHRIST IS THE "ONLY MEDIATOR"
Because there is only one God, and only one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). In the beginning he was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1.1). And that Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (John 1.14). The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the only one who can give us eternal life and save us from the wrath to come. Salvation is not through saints, virgins, angels or archangels, or under any other name. And in no other is there salvation; for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
THE PATIENCE OF GOD IS TO LEAD US TO REPENTANCE
But God, having overlooked the times of this ignorance, now commands all men everywhere to repent; because he has established a day in which he will judge the world with justice, by that man whom he appointed (this is his Son Jesus Christ of him), giving faith to all with having raised him from the dead (Acts 17 : 30-31). The Lord does not delay his promise, as some consider it tardy, but he is patient with us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3: 9).
HOW TO SAVE ME FROM THE WRATH TO COME?
So, repent and convert, so that your sins may be erased; so that times of refreshment may come from the presence of the Lord, (Acts 3:19).
CHRIST IS COMING SOON
And while he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him apart, saying: Tell us, when will these things be, and what sign will there be of your coming, and of the end of the century? Answering Jesus, he said to them: See that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, saying: I am the Christ; and they will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not disturbed, because it is necessary for all this to happen; but it's not the end yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be plagues, and famines, and earthquakes in different places. And all this will be the "beginning of sorrows" (Matthew 24.3-8).
SURRENDER TO JESUS WITH ALL YOUR HEART
That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9).
Repeat this prayer if you are sorry for your sins:
“Lord Jesus, today I recognize that I am a sinner. Now I know that you died for the love of my soul on the cross of Calvary -taking my place- and that you rose from the dead on the third day, and that now you live and reign. I ask you to wash me with your precious blood and erase from me all my sins and my rebellions and make me a new creature. Today I give you my life and my heart, I want to know you, I accept you as my only and sufficient Savior and as my Lord. Write my name in the book of life and never erase it, Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen!. To be saved, it is necessary to take the step and make a sincere surrender to Christ with a repentant heart, abandoning the path of sin, now going on the path of God, which is the path of holiness, without which no one will see God. This is the beginning of a new life because in Christ Jesus we are born again: “So if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; old things passed away; behold, all things are made new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
YOU DECIDE!
Lobby Cam by Bryn Oh Positives: + Ok idea + Relaxing + Artistic + Some of the sounds + The music + Exploration + Its free Negatives: - Not a lot to see or do - The story is so-so - Requires a very good pc to run it smoothly - The graphics look a bit dated - The flashlight is more or less useless - Invisible walls - Very short (over in 45 minutes) This is an experience that might not be everyones cup of tea. But if you like to explore in relaxing environments, then give it a try. Its short and free. Total Score: 5.5/10
so to preface i originally played lobby cam in secondlife. To be honest i preffered the experience in secondlife better. this isn't even a game, more a walking simulator looking for journal entries to put the pieces of a story together. For people not familiar with bryn oh or the secondlife art installation of it, Lobby Cam will most likely be dissapointing in it's current state. Pros: -beautiful scenery -sound track -story -interesting concept -can take your time exploring Cons: - no way to change graphics settings, mouse caming sensitivity, or movement controls - no instructions, you're just sent into the game with no tutorial - laggy - heavy use of motion blur when moving or caming that can't be turned off = headaches or motion sickness - environments can be too dark at times, so i got caught on fences i couldn't see - the start screen is confusing, there's no obvious play or continue button. took a second for me to realize the title was the play button. (instead social media buttons, the standard game start screen buttons should've been used) Lobby cam works really well in secondlife since majority of the cons are non-exsistent there but as a steam game its lacking. i hope future updates make it more optimized for a better experience. I enjoy Bryn Oh's work in secondlife, so i was hoping this port of Lobby Cam would've been smoother than it is.
I absolutely loved Lobby Cam! The game's beautiful world is incredibly immersive, and exploring every nook and cranny to uncover its intricate details is truly fascinating. I have explored Bryn's worlds in Second Life and now doing it on Steam is a very satisfying experience
