An immersive short story walking simulator. Find diary pages to uncover the narrative behind a man who discovers a new channel on his TV. A melancholy story about the grey etiquette of technology.

so to preface i originally played lobby cam in secondlife. To be honest i preffered the experience in secondlife better. this isn't even a game, more a walking simulator looking for journal entries to put the pieces of a story together. For people not familiar with bryn oh or the secondlife art installation of it, Lobby Cam will most likely be dissapointing in it's current state. Pros: -beautiful scenery -sound track -story -interesting concept -can take your time exploring Cons: - no way to change graphics settings, mouse caming sensitivity, or movement controls - no instructions, you're just sent into the game with no tutorial - laggy - heavy use of motion blur when moving or caming that can't be turned off = headaches or motion sickness - environments can be too dark at times, so i got caught on fences i couldn't see - the start screen is confusing, there's no obvious play or continue button. took a second for me to realize the title was the play button. (instead social media buttons, the standard game start screen buttons should've been used) Lobby cam works really well in secondlife since majority of the cons are non-exsistent there but as a steam game its lacking. i hope future updates make it more optimized for a better experience. I enjoy Bryn Oh's work in secondlife, so i was hoping this port of Lobby Cam would've been smoother than it is.

Lobby Cam by Bryn Oh is a truly unique experience. The game features an incredible art style that is sure to leave you mesmerized. One of the most impressive aspects of the game is that it was created entirely by the artist themselves using Unreal Engine. The game has a look that is truly one of a kind and the attention to detail is incredible. If you're looking for an experience that is unlike anything else on Steam, then Lobby Cam is definitely worth checking out. It's a shame that some players can't appreciate the artistic value of Lobby Cam and instead just leave negative reviews. In a world where "pay to win" and "COD" AAA games dominate the market, it's refreshing to see something that offers a uniquely thought, and relaxing experience. We need more games like Lobby Cam that push the boundaries and remind us of the potential for art in video games. in a nutshell: The game is short, free, and made by one person with a unique artistic twist, try it now!
I tried this game yesterday. I liked the graphics and the natural scenery. I liked being able to explore the world that was created. There were several things in it to see and I tried to figure out how they were connected. In one place, there was a newspaper article that I tried to read. I suppose that if you don't really understand the story it is supposed to tell, its okay. Great as a free game.
I have enjoyed Bryn Oh's creativity in Secondlife and now she continues to enjoy and amaze me on the Steam platform, the effort she has put into bringing her work to this platform is commendable. About the history: The plot does not immerse us in a story of our days, it is interesting, and it leads us to collect the environment to complete the puzzle of the pieces of history. The environment, the creations, the atmosphere, the lights and the VR zones, create the need to be curious and discover. Congratulations to Bryn and those who have contributed for paving the way from virtual worlds to other virtual and subtle worlds. IsW
A laggy mess of a Unity game. Of course its a Unity game. No options menu and when you move your cursor over the YouTube, Instagram and Blog buttons in the main menu they play long sounds that you can't even stop. This game feels like it was made by a 10 year old.
YO
I always wondered what might be next for your talents. The feel is distinctly Bryn and now it's in Unreal Engine. Nice touch on the secret bedroom. :) I hope this little exercise fuels the fire. PS. When do the zombie rabbits get added? -Simon
A masterpiece by Bryn Oh, just been wandering in this world. Experiencing. Love the VR references, and all the subtleties to your past and future with a sprinkle of your style, well done!
