An immersive short story walking simulator. Find diary pages to uncover the narrative behind a man who discovers a new channel on his TV. A melancholy story about the grey etiquette of technology.

This is a horribly optimised walking sim that has no options for graphics settings, at all. The main menu showcases the various social networking websites of the developer (e.g. instagram, YouTube etc.) and once you start the game you'll immediately experience an FPS drop. There are issues with the textures, too. For instance, the upper part of various sections of the fence on the farm appears to be too simplistic (blurry). Some also allow you to do some clipping. The idea is interesting, though. When looking around in the farmhouse you'll find VR headsets that all take you to different locations. As the synopsis says the idea here is to collect diary pages so that you can put together a story. It's a shame that insufficient time was put into the making of this game which, in fact, belongs to one of my favourite genres. At this point I can't recommend the game and as it was released only this month (January, 2023) I can only hope we'll see a couple of updates to remedy the situation.
Good idea, but poor in content. the graphics are a bit heavy.

Let's start with the good. The world Bryn Oh creates is very intriguing, and it's populated by some really beautiful installations and sculptures/figures. I love the style. Now the bad: There's no way to adjust the graphics quality or aspect ratio, so the entire game is an extremely choppy, headache-inducing experience. Bryn Oh seems very pretentious by attaching her name to the title of the game, filling the main menu with links to her social media, and including her name at the bottom of every single page of poetry that you read in the game. It's rather childish. There's no ending to the game. Once you reach the end, nothing happens, and you're left wondering whether or not the game is over. You're left to continue wandering around without ever knowing whether there's more you're supposed to find/do. I'm still not certain I've fully finished the game, but there was nothing else I could find and nowhere else to go. The constant references to the pandemic and isolation are incredibly annoying at this point. We've been hearing about the pandemic every day for years, we've seen all sorts of media and social media incorporate the pandemic, and using it in this game is completely unnecessary and off-putting.

Loved Lobby Cam in Second Life, loved it here as well. Even more beautiful & fun to explore! I completely forgot about finding a flashlight, so back into the game I go to see what I may have missed!
..After much thought I can describe Bryn Oh's "Lobby Cam" in this way .. It is a non-linear narrative that will coalesce as you move through the witty, charming and beautiful World Bryn Oh has made. ...And as an aside .. thank You Steam for making this possible.
It was like peeking in on someones private thoughts
