Curator page here--> DaRevieweD #001 <-- New review whenever

FIRST IMPRESSIONS;
A short & colorful thrill that may scare ages 15 and up… but how bad could it get, right!? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3368853798
PROS;

+DA. GAMEPLAY
A few bites of exploration and note-finding mixed in with a couple ounces of palpitating chases that escalate into unexpected encounters, all while throwing in a modicum of fooling around (on the player’s end), and Little Screamies is the end result, grown in a flashy test tube. Or so I heard, anyhow~ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3368837947
+ DA CUTIES!
We need some merch of those fine creatures right away…! Who is/are the artist(s), I know it says so in the credits, but please tell me again- they could give some of the timeless & iconic mascots across mainstream media a real run for their money~
+DA ENVIRONMENT…
The same level of love and attention for said gobble-worthy critters was obviously given to the level designs, if not more even! The array of unique props, pleasing color palettes, and foreboding signs complemented one another without coming off overbearingly uneven to the point of inducing eye strains~
+DA PLOT~
Truth be told, the story isn’t much to write home about, or maybe there is and I just missed it in one of the optional collectibles- those buggers are driving me mad, I tell ya! Seriously though, it’s like an episode of Scooby Doo had amalgamated with Martin Mystery and that made for a nostalgic trip down man-child memory lane but with a not-so-satisfying payoff~
CONS;

-DUH…STUFFING!?
A number of reviews claimed this game was too brief- well, I beg to differ. It runs a tad too long, with tasks that become more and more repetitive. I would rather have it cut to the chases, no pun intended, as that would have showcased its adorable entities even more! Don’t get me wrong though, the pacing was perfect in the first half; it’s the second half that made the padding very apparent~
- DUH. CONTROLS.
Can’t quite place it but running felt weird as if there was a delay between hitting the shift key and it registering. Sometimes its other interactions will be rather testing as well, but fortunately it is not too gameplay-laden~
BUGS;
x Platforming sections towards the end
NITPICKS
~ Crouching gets cancelled automatically when opportunity allows for it to. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3368855841
LAST WORDS;
Looks can be deceiving, and it cannot get any truer than Little Screamies. This is a splendid Halloween concoction passionately brewed with designs that will be both a treat for the eyes AND heart~
8.5 / 10
Congratulations on releasing the game on Steam. The game is great and smooth to play. I just finished all the papers and hints on the lore of this game. Unfortunately, there are some bugs in some achievements that are still locked such as ‘Oh Buttons’, ‘What A Shock’, ‘Strange Contraption’, and ‘All The Lore’.
Super fun and the only problem being how short it was. I'd love to see this continued to being longer or future installments it was super cool.
Bu, hiçbir şeyin göründüğü gibi olmadığı dünyayı keşfedeceğiniz el yapımı bir oyundur. Little Laboratories Inc'in büyük sırlarını ortaya çıkarın.
Солянка из всяких там Poppy Playtime BanBan и прочих подобных но сделана просто и приятно играется! Я бы точно поиграл в продолжение! https://youtu.be/BYY-iPZi3YQ
"Little Screamies" is a weird amateur made first person puzzle adventure game somewhat inspired by Gremlins or Critters or something (don't forget to watch Critters 3 to see child actor Leonardo Di Caprio flex his acting muscles before it was cool). You solve puzzles, simple ones, and navigate low poly environments while avoiding little critters/getting jumpscared. The game is short, lasting approximately 40 minutes, and when the best thing you can say about a game is that it's short, we have problems. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
nice and fun , hopefully this is a demo of a much bigger game to follow as its loads of fun, but a little short.
Little Screamies is a fun, spooky game that is great for kids and adults alike. Explore the mysterious facility to uncover the strange happenings at Little Laboratories Inc. The art/environments look great and the gameplay is engaging. I played the game in full on Itch.io and enjoyed it very much. The game can be completed in one sitting, so I hope it gets a sequel. ^^
I really loved it! I screamed so many times when Retriever jumped at me, it was so scary. My favorite thing to do was being able to carry around the plushie whenever I found it, made me feel like I had a buddy with me while playing alone. I love the low poly style and thought it was fun! There were some parts that felt a little slow but overall I think this was a fantastic game. Great job to the Team at Nukepop <3
