Being real here I don't really recommend buying the game, you can enjoy it fine from watching a playthrough. Since the choices really don't matter! The endings barely change. The dark humor, and topics the game has is fine since it's to show Misfortune's bad upbringing most of the time, but the fart/poop jokes are just kinda gross. For the audience this game has it just doesn't really fit, or funny at all. For a game that's supposed to have some dark topics, they don't execute it well. All we learn are tid-bits about how her family situation is bad, and they're trying to make it more humorous through a child's POV, but it turns out kinda cringey. Just a personal peeve of mine, but when there aren't too many achievements I like to perfect them. This game's replayability is so slow, and you can easily accidentally walk off from stuff you haven't interacted with therefore locking it.
("Hay Doll #6" it's easily missable since it appears next to the runestone, and if you walk off it gets locked from being in another area)
It's just the story doesn't really delve into seperate paths much, so replaying for the achievements or just to replay gets really boring.

deep story, voices were great and engaging but i have to say that when i played this game i fell down the stairs unlucky
bittersweet :-)
Little Misfortune is one of the most memorable indie games I’ve played. The colorful art style is absolutely beautiful, but it’s the emotional story that makes this game so special. It made me laugh, broke my heart, and stayed with me long after the ending. A truly unique experience that I highly recommend.
tries way too hard to be as edgy and gross as possible to the point of it being insanely obnoxious. the carousel scene was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nasty n unnecessary too, you can understand misfortune's picked up bad habits and ideas from her family without showing the 8 year old dancing like a striper and rubbing the unicorn horn like a ♥♥♥♥. seek mental help
