A bittersweet adventure platformer where you coordinate two playable characters who share a physics based swinging mechanic in real time. Nyah can walk and pick up items, while her spirit light can fly and explore dark areas.

This game is great, cute and have original mechnics and gameplay. Strongly recomended if you like platformers.
An interesting little game, sort of a platformer except you can't jump, instead, you can bounce off helpful pillows and swing on light orbs, it's quirky and fun, the art is pretty cute too https://youtu.be/nPONa1pjNf8

Short but charming platformer telling story of a little girl Nyah and her adventures while going back home from school. Also about her relationship with mother. Interesting mechanics - you can't make a jump but instead you're in control of two characters and traverse the world swinging on a beam of light as if it is a rope. Clever! But I wish it was more expanded and advanced. Maybe in the sequel?
A freakin' adoarble lil' indie game.

[/quote] Little Bug is a wonderfully done platformer with a unique gameplay mechanic. You play as a young girl named Nyah, little bug, lost in a dream world. Little bug is guided along with her ball of light through this scary dream world and deals with many obstacles. Little bug uses dual stick controls which requires some coordination for certain obstacles. It’s a very unique way of getting around. The ball of light is controlled with your right joystick and little bug is controlled with the left. The ball of light has a gravity beam on a limited timer that pulls little bug to it when using right trigger. Controls feel great and the unique type of play is a lot of fun. I would have liked some sensitivity control in the settings since the ball controls did feel a little touchy at times and most of my deaths resulted from that. Gameplay is great with the unique gravity beam swing mechanic. The game starts out easy and really gets you used to the controls before you are tested. Once the game gets going, the difficulty ramps up and really tests your coordination. Checkpoints felt good, not too forgiving, but you don’t have to do too much over again either. Most puzzles are pretty easy, it’s more about knowing where to put the light so you can quickly move little bug out of the way of obstacles. One of the largest challenges was that the ball of light and little bug can both die from the various obstacles so you need to be mindful of both at all times. Getting used to moving two objects separately at the same time is the challenge of Little Bug. In total, it took me an hour to beat the game from start to finish. There are collectibles in the game so it offers some replay value. The atmosphere and aesthetic in this game is beautifully done. The levels are well done with bright colors. It’s really a soothing game to play, aside from some frustrating deaths, it is very relaxing to play. The music soundtrack really fits with the gameplay, speeding up during tense times then calming back down. Overall, Little Bug was one adventure that was a delight to play. It’s obvious that the developers put a lot of love into this platformer. I would recommend that you give this a play. Full Video Review: https://youtu.be/kfCwG6Q657A
Really fun game! It's definitely challenging at times but it feels great when you finally beat that difficult part that you've been trying at for a while! Cool music and atmosphere. Reminds me of a mix of games like night in the woods, limbo, inside. Some aspects remind me of valley or shapes and beats also (minus playing to the music :P). Definitely worth the price!
This game is beautiful! The art and sound design are just amazing! I have been following this game ever since I discovered the demo on Gamejolt and it has been a joy to see it become the little gem it has. It's kinda hard to control the two characters but it gets easier with practice. A fun (if a little challenging) platformer that you should most definatly invest some time in!
Most Wholesome Game 2018. Little Bug is an absolutely wonderful little game. It's not terribly long, but it offers collectibles, a fun little world to poke around in with plenty of secrets to find, a nice "boss fight" at the end, and a story that makes me cry every time. I'm a bit of a notorious crybaby, though. Either way, all the elements come together to make a memorable experience. (Oh yeah, let's not forget there are bonus levels too!) With plenty to offer, what do you have to lose? Just play the game!
Hello , Nice little girl story ! Beautifull game . Must play ! Must Test !
