A relaxing 1bit puzzle game set in a world where all the light is liquid. There are all sorts of creatures in the darkness, waiting for the light to bring them form, but no need to worry, they are quite tame.

6/10 Short puzzle-platformer game about light and darkness. What is it: Puzzle-platformer, with very little platforming actually, with mechanics revolving around the two different states you and things around you can be in, light or dark. The goal in each level is to reach a specific spot. There is no jumping, your actions are limited to moving left or right, and shooting blobs of lightness or darkness to change the creatures to your state. This is a very short game, it feels more like a demo/proof of concept. So, it showcases well what can be done with the simple mechanics, without overstaying its welcome. How hard is it: Easy to moderate. How long is it: 17 levels for 30-60 minutes of playtime, the first few are just tutorials. All the levels are unlocked from the start. Level design: Good enough, the (few) levels are quite distinct and, with the exception of the first few tutorials, not that obvious. Quality: Like a proof of concept. Very little to do other than playing the levels. No settings, no progress saving, no achievements. 1-bit retro graphics, but they're good enough. Doesn't run on my Linux desktop, but plays well on the Steam Deck. Worth the price: It's free, so yes. Most positive aspect for me: Interesting mechanics. Most negative aspect for me: Too short and too easy, this could be expanded into a very good full game. Also consider: Hue, puzzle platformer centered around colors. Closure, quasi-1-bit puzzle platformer. Short but semi-tricky puzzle platformer. Has 16 levels, though the difficulty kinda peaks around the middle with the first and last few being quite easy. Can be beat in like half an hour or less, so it's worth giving it a try if you want to pass the time. Kinda wish there was music as you played, but the sound effects at least keep it from being too quiet.
Cool 1-bit platformer! this game is awsome and i believe it should have cool new updates!
Pretty chill puzzle platformer. Worth a shot.
This is a nice short game, while it is very short since it is free I would recommend still playing it for a few minutes of fun.
This is a very nice puzzle game. I know it's just basically a demo, but the concepts behind the creatures and the way the liquid light interacts with the world is very solid. I loved the whole opposites attract motif that you used, and the animations for the plant creatures were really nice. Would love to see a full version of this. Well done. :D PS. Spoilers... Is there any way to beat the last two levels without letting one of the creatures get eaten? It doesn't seem like there is but, that would be an interesting question to toy with if you plan on developing this game further.
