About
Limitless Survivor is a incremental roguelite action game with infinite progression.
Rarely dropped Artifacts grant permanent boosts to your stats and skill performance.
Collect more to stack their effects and grow stronger.
If farming starts to feel like a chore, you can leave it to auto-play and let it handle the grind for you.

Use crystals brought back from dungeons to enhance your core stats and extend your exploration time.
The deeper you go, the more efficiently you earn crystals.
Level up by defeating enemies to learn and upgrade skills.
You can learn up to five skills.
Max out your favorites or build a balanced loadout — the choice is yours.
Loot powerful items from chests dropped by enemies in the dungeon.
Items can roll random affixes, unlocking effects like on-kill explosions, chaining lightning on crit, and massive boosts to attack count and area.
Spend special crystals to perform a Prestige reset.
Each Prestige greatly increases artifact drop rates and crystal gains.
Repeat it enough, and the numbers go absolutely wild.

Complete achievements to unlock new weapons, skills, and items as you progress.

Progress made in the demo will not carry over to the full game.

Feels like more than just "Some graphics assets, background music, and portions of the code were created with the assistance of AI-generation tools." Typical "make numbers go up" incremental game, but the increments are small and don't feel too impactful. You do not get the typical dopamine rush of unlocking the next purchase. There is an auto play mode from the start. And while they state "If farming starts to feel like a chore, you can leave it to auto-play and let it handle the grind for you." I could not even go the first 45minutes before feeling like I needed to let auto-play handle the gameplay because it became boring that quickly. The weapons all work the same with the same stats. I'm surprised I'm refunding a 3€ game but I'm just that unsatisfied. TLDR: - Feels very AI - Increments very small - No dopamine from growing your stats - Needs autoplay from the start because it doesn't keep you engaged.
So, before you consider buying this there's something you need to know: this is not an idle game. This is more akin to a programming demo, with some systems added to it that superficially resemble an idle game. There is literally zero decision making in this game, there is zero meaningful "resets" or prestige/ascension. There is literally nothing to think about. You max all the upgrades when you can, and every time you prestige, you just go to the highest floor you have unlocked. There's always a crystal deposit immediately by the spawn, and you get the crystals (with the new prestige modifier) and now you have enough to upgrade to start working on clearing more floors. There is literally zero of anything to think about. Swap weapons after a while to get all the achievements. The game is well made, the polish is there, but it's almost like the developer has never really played a game before, and just kind of used his imagination to make something that he thought people would recognize as a game. No shade at the developer or anything, he's done more than I have for making a game and putting it up there. Honestly this game is bewildering to me, because it's just so absent of any actual real gameplay design. I bought it knowing that. So bizarre was playing the demo that I bought the full game just to see if anything would be different. There is "more" content, that is just entirely ignorable and nothing about the core gameplay "loop" I mentioned above has changed. A very strange.... "game" and I honestly cannot recommend it. A well made program, with some good solid polish it seems. Animations, menus, like, everything is there for this to "look" like a game, but there are literally zero implemented systems that make this more than just going to a spreadsheet, pressing 1 to fill a cell, and then hitting enter to move to the next row and repeating. Very strange "game" but it is what it is. I'm going to keep it running because I'm just curious. Apparently there's a wall at level 25 and I'm at 19 or so, so in a few days I'll probably hit that and uninstall. Do not recommend, unless you're like me and wanted to see what a non-game-game could look like.

As a fan of incremental roguelikes, I wanted to love this game, and I truly dislike leaving negative feedback for a solo developer. However, the experience falls short. The reliance on bland, AI-generated assets hurts the immersion, and the progression loop feels flat. The gameplay quickly turns into a tedious chore. The upgrades are too small, you never get that satisfying dopamine hit. The Prestige system is also frustrating, as it strips away your stats and select achievements. (I get it, this is where the title Limitless Survivor comes from) Even at a discounted price, I ultimately chose to refund it.

Infinit progress maybe, but no feeling of progress
