Fun and challenging anomaly game. Makes me paranoid "was that always there????"

Short fun looping anomaly hunting experience. Most of the anomalies are easy to spot, some are difficult and 1 is near impossible to spot.

A well-made, decently challenging anomaly horror game where you explore a creepy looping hospital corridor. If you're a fan of these types of games, then Liminal Department is worth trying. The visuals are lovely, and the game ran quite smoothly. Some anomalies are fairly easy to spot; others are much more subtle, as there were definitely a few I missed. It's your typical, spot-the-difference, anomaly hunting game. Lacking in horror with some real sneaky anomalies, I could take it or leave it. If you're a fan of anomaly spotting games then it's worth checking out. If you're not, I wouldn't start with this one as there are better ones. Very solid anomaly hunting game, definitely worth a play. Needs to be played with sound on, as there are audio-only anomalies. For speedrunning: nice that it has a built in clock, although there are a couple of mechanics there that can be a bit frustrating (having to go through stage-setting room twice, result-entry monitor can be a bit fussy in terms of range that accepts input). When you fail, gives you a notification telling you what category of anomaly you missed, which is pretty neat. Has a hard mode, which as far as I can tell doesn't add any additional anomalies, just has you play to a higher exit level. Like most of these games, I wish they'd just implement an "unlimited" mode where you can just go until you fail without a real win condition
