Limbo is a beautiful game. It's short enough to be beaten in one sitting if you have about four hours to spare. There is no story here. There are no characters. There are no boss fights. There is no leveling up. There are no questlines. There is no dialogue. There is no combat. There is no real explanation given for what is going on or what it all means. All that there is, is a little guy, on a big journey, in this monochromatic hell world, moving from point A to point B, with a lot of creepy ♥♥♥♥ trying to kill him on his way there. The game is very simple; it doesn't really need anything else. You move around, jump up ledges, swing on ropes, climb up ladders, and grab things. You occasionally press a button or two. Those mechanics on their own turn out to be the only ingredients needed to cook a great game. I played this when it came out on the Xbox 360 over 16 years ago when I was 12 years old, and I thought it was an awesome game back then. Playing it again after almost two decades have passed, I'm happy to say that it still holds up. It seems like less and less games that are being released in these modern times have developers who really know how to bridge the gap between a game being "just a game" and a game being "art". Limbo is a shining example of a game that qualifies as both. If you haven't played this, just do yourself a favor and play it already. And while you're at it, play Inside as well. It's arguably just as good as this game. I'm not sure which one I actually think is better. I'll have to replay Inside eventually. Hopefully Playdead's next game isn't literally "dead" at this point. Apparently, they've been working on it for over a decade, and we still don't have a trailer or any real evidence that it isn't just vaporware. If it ever does get released though, it will be a day one purchase for me, because you can tell the people behind these games really do care about what they're making. NOTE: Perfect for Steam Deck, but if you play this on a PC, you have to modify text files to upscale your resolution. Also, since the game's visuals are in black and white, I would HIGHLY recommend playing this on an OLED monitor.
Неплохая, стильная игра, проходится за 1-2 вечера.

One of the Best Single Player Games
You think you are safe and can anticipate what the next challange is going to be then the game throws you a curveball.
