-Gives the player nearly no chance of outplaying your opponent with strategies. (except items, which hardly can change anything if you are very unlucky, or, they become very unnecessary if you are lucky, which happened to my friend who finished the game in 3 minutes by finding the exit right away, and not understanding a single thing about the game) -Zero hidden systems that balance "too many bad luck" or "too many good luck" scenarios. -Item tiles give you 2 items to choose from, which could have shown more items to choose from to encourage strategy, but of course not. Conclusion: If you like games that only depend on your luck (items you get is also luck-based so) you will like this game. However, a good game never comes without a system that balances the "luck" element in them and, encourages the usage of strategy.
This game definitely deserves more attention, because it is really fun. It reminds me a lot of Buckshot Roulette, and it is incredible that it is for free! I like the creativity for the use of items on the game and of how the environment and the other patients look. I would just recommend that there was an option to stop the flickering lights and to prevent the character to "shake" too much while moving, because it made me feel a bit nauseous (from my motion sickness). Any Buckshot Roulette fan should give Limb from Limb a try, but I still recommend it for anyone who enjoys this sort of "gambling" horror game :)

This game is just too entirely luck dependent while being incredibly slow with the animations, hard mode guarantees 2 death cards every hand ( also getting to the win tile on hard doesn't give you the other win tile achievement) also ran into a bug or 2, the most annoying was getting a bug where i could only click the cabinet and could click on the board.
Lost my mind at least 800 times in the span of 3 hours but it was great
Me and the patient are in a very serious romantic relationship. We are going to be getting married but we will not be using rings because none of us have fingers anymore
2 hours game finished also 100%...For a free game you should play it
Limb From Limb is one of those games where the design doc could be summarized as: > “What if we solved every problem with **excessive dismemberment**?” You don’t just defeat enemies. You **rearrange their anatomy** with: * A weapon that definitely isn’t legally approved * Physics that should be submitted to a war crimes tribunal * And a clean-up bill that would bankrupt an entire city --- ### Pros * Combat is *spicy*: every hit feels like you swung a freight train made of kitchen knives. * Enemies don’t just fall over, they come apart like badly glued Warhammer minis. * Upgrade system basically asks, * “More damage?” * “More blood?” * “Or more body parts flying in different directions?” * Great stress relief: had a bad day? Boot it up, turn a room full of bad guys into a biology lesson. * Kill-cams / ragdolls so dramatic you’ll instinctively say “oh my god” out loud and then replay them in slow motion. --- ### Cons * Subtlety is not on the menu. If you wanted quiet, tactical takedowns… buddy, this is a woodchipper with a sprint button. * After a while, you start judging weapons purely by “how much of the target disappears.” * You will lose track of objectives because you got distracted punting someone’s torso into the stratosphere. * Hard to explain to friends: > “Yeah, it’s called *Limb From Limb* but it’s actually really relaxing.” --- ### Peak “Limb From Limb” Moments * Hitting someone so hard their arm continues the fight emotionally without them. * Accidentally triggering a chain reaction of physics objects and turning a quiet hallway into a blender commercial. * Pausing mid-fight just to admire the crime scene you’ve created like, “Yeah… that one’s on me.” * Finishing a level, seeing your “limbs removed” stat, and feeling both proud and slightly concerned about yourself. --- **9/10** An extremely wholesome experience, if your definition of wholesome involves high-speed partial disassembly of hostile lifeforms. Would once again walk into a room with one sword, walk out with 47 extra elbows on the floor, and call it “a pretty good run.”
This is a free game so REALLY cant complain... but I am going to anyways. From the discussion board, it sounded like this was a student project, meaning there will be no updates to this game, this is the final product. Which to me sucks, because it did have potential for more replayability for time killing. My gripes and complaints... -Flickering light and sfx... way too much. Ended up just turning SFX volume to 0 -Slow animations, wish there was a speed up or skip option. -Itd be nice it turn order was randomized. You can change it, though it requires an item. -Winning animation makes no sense. A simple You win, then to the title screen, seems itd be more suffice. -The creature your playing against doesnt make sense, another human would just be better if anything. -Multiple levels. Again these our my complaints, minor to some. Again I know there will never be any updates or content... so this is more of just a time killer.
Limb From Limb is a great game, with mechanics similar like Shotgun Roulette. You are a patient trying an experiment in a laboratory, designed as chessesque. In which you are represented as king piece. Your objective is to escape the experiment building by reaching the escape tile. There will be 4 different unique tiles such as: Red = Enemy, Blue = Shop, Green = Escape Tile and Yellow: Free Item. You shall battle enemy patients in a card game in which there are 31 safe cards, 16 death cards and 8 joker cards(basically first to 5 loses). The floor is always rng so the tiles wont be the same each time. Overall great game. TL:DR = Shotgun Roulette card game in Insane Asylum, Veri Funni
