Worth it.

Life is Strange. The title fits. Life is strange for so many different people in different ways, and it happens to be extra strange for Max. The ability to rewind time in order to make more informed choices is an ability just about anyone wishes they had. I love games like this, all the paths, and I still have the ability to undo a bad decision. I especially like the writing. The characters feel like actual people, not just a list of traits on a sheet of paper; they have moments of weakness, they have nuance, and it's not often I get to see characters like that. It's a breath of fresh air. This game is excellent in showing the unique struggles different people face daily, and the environmental storytelling is off the charts! Not all mean girls are 100% evil, not all cheerleaders and stereotypically pretty girls are mean girls, not all jocks are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, not all teachers are out to get you. Even with the antagonists, while they're still so clearly the bad guy in a moral and storytelling sense, you can still find parts of them you agree with, they're still human. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone looking for a story. It's time consuming, but so worth it.
