Really great game. You make choices and they affect the relationships you have. I don't think they necessarily affect the outcome, which is a bit of a bummer, because it makes the endings a bit limited. It's all a bit linear in a way. That said, I enjoyed the process, the time jumps, the story, and the emotions that came with it all. I truly did not expect to feel some type of way with my last choice, but I found myself actually caring and wondering if I made the right decision. I know I did, but that doesn't make it any easier to see play out. The main characters weren't always my favorite personalities, but they were pretty realistic to a certain extent, so I can't knock that. Overall, very, very well done.

Absurdly, and quite unexpectedly PEAK LEGEND. For Everything to be avoided... Nothing must be done.
сначала думала, что это просто атмосферная игра про американских тинейджеров, после прохождения вздрагиваю от слова проявочная. 10/10, Rachel Amber, we miss you.
9/10

“Through the darkness of future past, the magician longs to see. One chants out between two worlds, fire walk with me.”

From Life is Strange to Twin Peaks: What Does Love Mean in a Broken World?

Two seemingly harmless Northwest towns, Arcadia Bay and Twin Peaks, both look like some nice little places on Earth. Even Chloe's license plate is TWN PKS. The game was sending a love letter to David Lynch, with so much easter eggs about the masterpiece, and both used symbolism as a powerful tool to do storytelling with deeper meaning for people to think about. Yet beneath that surface, evil is everywhere, drugs, abuse, rape, murder. The evil doesn't come from one villain alone. Laura Palmer’s death wasn’t just a result of Bob's supernatural consequence on her dad. It was the result of an entire town choosing not to see, Rachel, Chloe, Nathan, Victoria's fate wasn’t just Mark Jefferson’s perverted mind. It was the product of a rotten system at Blackwell Academy, where the principal takes bribes, bullies go unpunished, and "troubled" ones who actually need help are thrown away. While Twin Peaks uses surreal dream logic in small-town America, Life Is Strange puts the scene in everyday institutions, schools, families, etc., making the corruption feel even more intimate and inescapable. Both universes are governed by forces beyond human control, yet both insist that human response still matters. The message LIS trying to convey is to show you that even with the power to change the past, some outcomes simply cannot be rewritten. Rachel was destined to die, and Chloe’s fate had long been set. When you try to stop her father from dying, it ended up with Chloe became paralyzed begging Max to end her life. it is about the sobering realization about love: true love isn’t about “rescuing” someone from their fate, but about walking alongside them on the path they must take, and then having the courage to say goodbye when the time comes for them to leave. It cannot give us a happy ending. In Life Is Strange, no matter which ending you choose, Max loses something precious. Save Chloe, and the storm destroys the town. Save the town, and Chloe dies. Love cannot defeat evil. It cannot reverse fate. If love can’t save anyone, why does it matter? Because love gives suffering the dignity of being witnessed. In a chaotic and meaningless universe, love could be our last defense against nothingness. Both Max and Cooper find themselves in a universe that is fundamentally broken and supernatural. In the face of such darkness, the only response that matters is love. We are destined to live amid imperfection and loss. But the dignity of “living” itself lies in the fact that you still choose to gaze into the abyss, choose to love the one you will eventually lose, and choose, even when the storm hits, to remember the warmth of that cup of coffee, that slice of pie and the smile captured on that Polaroid film. The rewind mechanic isn't a liberating superpower, it's a burden. As existentialism puts it: "We are condemned to be free." Max cannot refuse to choose, and every choice carries unbearable weight. The butterfly is chaos theory whispering that you can never control the consequences of your actions. Maybe... love rewrites the meaning of what the ending means, not the ending itself, not to outrun it miraculously.
