Lewd Island

A choice driven "Adult VN" with branching story plots and somwhat of retort like visuals (as seen in other games of the genre). Gameplay is (railroad style) reading (or skipping) and making choices. For getting to all endings and getting all achievements you have to save at various points and replay several sections (see guides or walkthrough). Alltogether not high end but still okay.

The game was fun until the seventh day, when the female person shoots herself and dies from an OD. Do you need inspiration? How about if they are both eaten by a hungry shark or a supertanker cleans oil tanks off their small island? If I want to be kicked in the balls, I`ll buy a horse. The drawings and animations are beautiful.

If using a star rating, I would give 3 of 5. The concept is okay, I guess. The subplot got a little vague, and the cause of violence was not clear. I think I probably would have preferred if the couple stayed on the island alone to the tangled web of lies, deceit and intrigue. Much of the dialogue suffers from attempts to make each line witty, snarky, or funny, often trading those for stilted, unreal "banter" instead. Overall, compared to other games I rate highly in this genre, I would advise players to play this one, but with low expectations of the plot.

It was enjoyable, the Animations quite good, the story okay. Some things I feel were explained less good, but overall a 7,5/10

The twists in this story blew my mind, starts off slow but grabs your attention. Would highly recommend.

Okay story! I would maybe say good. If it ever got finished, But the Dev Never came back to this! Before you buy this just let you know it doesn't have a Ending!
