Letherfall is a first-person horror video game with Lovecraftian elements: the player must make their way through monstrous entities and intricate puzzles while exploring the abandoned village of Letherfall. Some nightmares don’t fade. They’re just waiting for you to open the wrong door.

About
Letherfall, June 27, 1998.
A child is found on the shores of a lake. His eyes wide with terror, his body frozen with fear and cold.
Not far from him, dozens of lifeless bodies: Dylan is the only survivor.
The police investigate, secret services intervene, but it’s all in vain — the truth lies buried with the corpses and within the twisted corners of young Dylan’s mind.
Manhattan, 2018
Dylan still remembers nothing of that tragic night, but terrible nightmares begin to consume his mind.
Relentless. Violent.
A voice haunts him in his sleep. Just one sentence, repeated over and over:
"Come back to Letherfall."
It sounds like his sister Janie — whose body was the only one never found.
Driven by a dark impulse and the guidance of his therapist, Dylan returns to the now-abandoned village. Letherfall is rotten, decayed, silent… but it is not empty.
Something is there. Something watching. Something that remembers.
Explore a disturbing and decaying environment, through distorted memories, inhuman presences, and unspeakable horrors.
Survive, uncover the truth — or lose your mind trying.
Letherfall is waiting for you.
And this time… no one gets out.

This game is linear and rich in story. The ending left me frustrated however the game was very enjoyable. The moments where the game takes you away from the main setting into it's metaphysical world captivated me.

Absolutely astonishing. The setting is so dark and dilapidated. Stuck questioning your sanity is a fun time. Played on YT and had a blast.
Needs Melee at least, and there is no way I would use noisy ammo to shoot open a door through an open window I could easily climb through. There is a lot of potential, I made it past 1hr at least. Acceptable for the price lol
It’s free, has great graphics, and a charming story—it strikes me as a solid choice for an indie game of this type. The gameplay is smooth, even if the frame rate dips at times, but it stabilizes once you get past those sections. It’s an enjoyable experience, lasting about two hours, and it tackles themes that aren’t all sunshine and rainbows. So personally, I’d give it a solid 7/10, and I definitely recommend giving it a try.
A very well made horror game! Some mistyping and occasionally some stuttering though.
Netherfall isn’t a bad game, especially for something that’s free-to-play. The graphics actually look pretty good and the overall style is nice. But honestly, that’s where most of the positives stop. The game still needs a lot of work — gameplay and polish feel unfinished, and it doesn’t fully stand out yet. That said, since it’s free, it’s not a terrible experience. You can jump in, try it, and see the potential, but it’s definitely not fully there yet. Overall, not bad for a free-to-play title, just needs more updates and improvements to really shine.
