➖Game itself is good but suffers the same problem as Leisure Suit Larry 1, it has very specific questions you must answer to play the game. Suprised if ppl get them all correct without cheating. ➖ I CANT MAKE SCREENSHOTS i dont know why ➖Not optimised for modern computers, doesn't even have widescreen support. ➖ Blurry, outdated graphics and no way to fix it ➖Has no options, except from difficulty, volume and controller sensitivity ➖ No subtitles ➖ If you press a button during some explanation, it's skipped, and you'll never know what advice/hint was offered, heck you even miss out on next objective ➖boring
Slightly better than 2, but still a total mess. The split narrative between Larry and Patti is ambitious but clunky. It’s filled with dead ends, trial-and-error puzzles, and cringey writing. By now, the series feels like it’s trying to mature, but it’s still stuck in horny teen mode, just now with more padding and slower pacing.

If Leisure Suit Larry 3 really were the last game in the franchise... it would be a worthy conclusion, an incredible ending, and even a fourth-wall-breaking one! The story only gets exciting when it's Patti's turn to control it, trying to find Larry to explain the "misunderstanding." Because the previous one, with Patti, is just Larry's attempts with some women that ultimately fail! The humor of LSL1 returns to the extreme in LSL3. Now, a score of 4000 is a huge exaggeration, huh... I enjoyed the temporary possibility of controlling Patti. LSL3 is good for its trilogy! Now, on to the next Leisure Suit Larry! 4????
The Leisure Suit Larry - Retro Bundle was available for free on Fanatical. Since I enjoy point-and-click and retro games, I gave it a chance. This was also the first time I played this series. Leisure Suit Larry 3 continues Larry’s story a few years later. You control Larry Laffer, who has given up on long-term love and is now intent on making the most of his romantic misadventures. This entry has slightly tamer humor. It's still silly and immature, but less overtly crude than before. The game sticks with the traditional text-input system. This is both charming and challenging since you need to phrase commands exactly right. The difficulty is still high, though it feels more manageable this time. You're not constantly rushed by timers like in the previous game. You can usually go back to grab missed items, and mistakes only set you back about 5-10 minutes. One particularly annoying sequence was the wild water ride, which I found impossible to complete. The tiny window and fast-moving obstacles made it frustrating, and after about 20 failed attempts, I had to skip it entirely (F8 to the rescue). I appreciated that the game switches perspectives later on, allowing you to control Passionate Patti, Larry's new love interest. It added a fresh dynamic to the gameplay. One major downside is the need to refer to the manual, which is blurry, poorly scanned, and combines pages from multiple games. The page numbers you need for puzzles, like the locker combination, are wrong, though luckily better versions of the manual are available online. I got totally stuck on a bamboo maze puzzle. The game's logic makes no sense half the time, which gets really frustrating. There's also this irritating save reminder that pops up if you haven't saved in five minutes. It constantly interrupts what you're doing. Graphics and sound are similar to the earlier games, with pixelated visuals and minimal 8-bit music, though the graphics are slightly more detailed. There's no VGA remake this time around. The age verification system remains as annoying as ever, this time asking trivia questions to prove you're over 18. Some of the questions are outdated or irrelevant, but fortunately, you can bypass the whole thing by pressing Ctrl+Alt+X.
This is a vintage P&C game. It's funny. The funny stuff is the only thing, besides nostalgia, to play this. As a game, it is nightmarish. Old mechanics, non-sensical puzzles, text commands, terrible pathfinding... I don't want to use a guide. I just took a peek and I'll be on my way. I'll still recommend this game for those souls that would do anything for a laugh, even playing a .50-cent confusing retro game on a likely 1000-dollar PC.
It is a bad, bad videogame. If you think you will be able to play this without a walkthrough, just don't. The puzzles are bad, poorly telegraphed, full of softlocks and nonsensical solutions that will have you saying "how was I supposed to know that?". The maps were seemingly made to intentionally hide some crucial plot-required paths from you that you would never figure out are there just by looking at the screen, they require blindly bumping into every corner of the map to finally find the magical extra path that doesn't look like a path. The world is full of things that kill you, either right away, or because you haven't looted an item 30 minutes ago. Of specific note are items you have to interact with to progress that keep saying "you're not close enough to interact", so you come closer but OOPS you got too close to it and there was a cliff, ha-ha, you're dead now. The plot will have you continually saying "okay now what" as the game doesn't tell you what are you even supposed to work towards half of the time, leading to you blindly stumbling around, not understanding what to do next. The game has at least 3 puzzles that require you to use the (provided) manual, which is used mostly as the copy protection for the game, which highlights the game design prevalent throughout: All the cheap deaths, all the hidden paths, all the impossible without outside information puzzles are (were) aiming to achieve one thing: to get you to buy the hintbook (and manual if you didn't have one) they advertise to you after every cheap death. The game actively despises the player and tortures you on every step, and then also has the gall to snub the 'reward' of raunchy scenes from you, blueballing you in almost every situation. I suppose that part is done intentionally because your main character is a loser, but boy it's not very fun to feel like a loser. If you want to learn about this game for the archaeological reasons, just watch an (edited) youtube playthrough or something, don't put yourself through the ordeal of actually playing it.
Ok.

More pervy fun adventures. Hard to play but very funny.
