It's... got funny dialogue. Gameplay is kinda juvenile. Also, heads up to anyone considering this game: You need to link a PlayStation account to your Steam account in order to play this game. Sony and their garbage anti-consumer hoops to jump through. Is it worth the expensive price? NO.
Disappointment... Since the 25th, I've been trying to play on my Steam Deck, but without success, simply because the PlayStation Network wants to block my access to the game, forcing me to have an account on their platform? Not to mention that Epic is involved, along with a launcher that adds nothing. Result: I only have a decorative game in my library. Please fix this, it's inconvenient. I just want to enjoy the game offline. As soon as the problem is solved (honestly, which I find difficult), I will change my review. Very dissatisfied with this whole problem. Curious that only this game has this problem; I played the original Horizon and the 2018 God of War and didn't have this impediment of being forced to have a PSN account...
Solid single player lego game PsPcSdkEmulator on github is required to bypass sony psn login
This is the first Lego game I didn't finish. No smashing a bunch of stuff. No puzzles. No need to replay levels in freeplay. Building up the town was automatic. I didn't enjoy the story's humor. It didn't feel like a lego game at all. I really hope this is not the way forward. I usually know what to expect with Lego. Now I have to research all new games.
Thanks to Sony PlayStation for unlocking PSN access and adding my region—but only for PC. It’s a decent game, perfect for just relaxing and having a good time. I got 100% of the achievements on Steam.
Its okay. I might like it if I got further into the game but the fact they don't stick to the story of the other games irks me. It seems like they've lobotomised Aloy as she's very dumb and chipper and bubbly in this game which doesn't fit her character at all if you've played the other games. It makes sense for a Lego game I guess, but they could've made her more kid friendly without making her seem like a dumb valley girl 19 year old :/ If you haven't played the other two Horizon games then you might like this one as it veers from the story quite a bit and you don't need to know the other two to play this one. Refunding it but might play it again in the future idk.
The game doesnt know what it wants to be and its bad at everyting it does. The combat gets extremely repetetive super fast and the levels are linear with barely anything to explore.
Price was at release atrocious and it still is bad (wouldn't pick it up for more than 20 EUR) and the performance is... adequate (on the Deck, runs fine on my main). However, if you are a Horizon fan you are in a treat full of easter eggs and references. Bonus points if you are into LEGO too! The game is very polished, and there are a lot of small attention to details; per example, your characters are changed to the customization you have picked on the main menu screen. That's pretty nice. Gameplay wise, it's pretty basic but fun enough to keep you busy.
This is the best LEGO game I've played yet. I thouroughtly enjoyed the game. You do not need to have prior knowledge of the Horizon games, but your enjoyment of this game will improve if you do.
O pior Lego já feito!
