Legend of the Moon 2

Way better than the price would suggest. Has nice patterns, customization options and an upgrade system, plus loads of levels and nice graphics. Very solid shmup experience, that is quite beginner friendly.

Another mobile game port from GozipGame. It's a straightforward mobile-style shmup (tiny levels, permanent upgrades) with a strange, unexplained, uncontextualized game mechanic: the game plays in slow-mo by default and normal speed while holding the A-button. There's surprising enemy variation and a few stage gimmicks, too! We got guys on train tracks... Guys that visibly track you with their guns... A stage where hazards rise toward the camera as your ship descends underground...! Like its predecessor, the story is oddly ambitious and grim, including emotional mid-stage set-pieces. Disappointed by the lack of control options—I would have loved to use mouse controls since the mobile game uses touch. But I imagine most people will be fine with KBM or controller. It's not gonna blow your mind or anything. The execution is amateurish. But there's heart! There's a curiosity and foreknowledge about shmups that many mobile games lack! There are hilarious typos! Definitely work 2 bucks.

This is a good, fun, inexpensive and not too difficult old-school shooter with fab graphics. My only issue is with the panels at the side of the play area - they look as if they are created for screens only 1080 pixels high. My screens are a higher resolution and the panels do not stretch to the top and bottom, which means I can see some gameplay in those area which should be hidden. This makes everything a bit confusing.

This is a nice classic style shooter. The previous game "legend of the moon" was a beatemup platformer, but OK! Moon alien people have invaded Earth, claiming that the Moon has become uninhabitable and they need to move to Earth. Fight them off with weapons upgradeable between missions.

BGMのセンスがいいです。レトロゲーム好きにはたまらない。

Fun game for shmups.

Doesn't work well with analog controller, & I didn't like the system of taking your thumb off the fire button to use slo-mo. It's an interesting idea, but I would prefer just to have an auto-attack & have the slo-mo as a limited use ability or something. Iunno it just felt weird.
