Left Alone

Left Alone is not a good game. The textures blur terribly during movement, though this is less obvious at night when most of the game is played, there's no option for rebinding keys, which is just lazy, the puzzles are both simple and yet oddly frustrating towards the end of the game, and certain scripted sequences last an absurdly long time, so bloody long that you end up searching the room you're stuck in over and over looking for whatever it is you missed. You didn't miss anything, the devs just don't know that even 30 seconds of nothing feels like an eternity, and they drag it out to several minutes instead. But the play time is short and the story, once you put all the pieces together, is fairly interesting, and sometimes all you want are simple puzzles, a creepy atmosphere, and a fairly interesting story to tie it all together without wasting too much of your time.

В настолько скучный и унылый хоррор я давно не играл. Сделать большую локацию и искать на ней всякую дичь- это конечно беспроигрышный вариант, но не для меня. И кстати, в игре нет врагов, от слова совсем.

Während der Anfang des Games noch recht Athmosphärisch war und mich sogar im Ansatz gruseln konnte, ist spätestens sobald man die Schule betritt der Zauber ganz schnell weg. Rätsel die auf Trial and Error aufgebaut sind (bis man den Trick herausfindet der bei dem Rätsel BEIDE MALE funktioniert), absolut inkonsequentes Leveldesign und ein HUD das einem das Fürchten lehrt (es gibt nämlich fast keins, was hier nicht immersiver, sondern nur einschränkend ist). Leider schafft es das Spiel auch nicht, seine Level so zu gestalten, dass man sich gut zurechtfindet, gut das kann auch an meiner Orientierung liegen. Alles sieht gleich aus, Dinge die in einem Moment unwichtig sind, sind im nächsten wichtig, nichts ist designtechnisch ausreichend hervorgehoben. Und wenn DOCH, kann man es nicht verwenden, wenn man nicht vorher das verwendet hat, was die Entwickler vorher verwendet haben wollen. Ich habe es abgebrochen, und bereue nichts.

Jumpsacres are not Scary at all. Its a borring Walkthrough. To many times your Screen goes Black for severel minuites and you dont know what to do, i thought the Game Crashed but it isnt,.. The Ending is just Dissapointing

WORST TRASH GAME EVER! DO NOT PLAY DO NOT BUY! Its long and tiring. I played 5 hours and incomplete. Its a lot fo find this key, restore power, find this key to the new area, restore that power, Finding the crowbar took forever, then you have GAS that stops your path. I thohght the game was over when i finished the floor, but WAIT > THERES A 2nd FLOOR. The School is HUGE to navigate and walk/run speed is slow. YOUR CHARACTER GETS TIRED after running for 10-15 seconds. SAVING SUCKS - ONLY per NEW AREA. I had to repeat parts 4 times duet o the save being crap. I found the keycard in the safe and did the gas mark part on the 2nd floor whoch took me 45 minutes. It didnt' save. A horror part happened. I went into the room I was supposed to go in. There was a metal shaft to jump in. I DID SO....BLANK SCREEN WITH ONLY SOUND. I couldnt move, no keys worked I couldnt do anything except pause and quit losing 45 mins of progress. WORST PIECE OF TERSH EVER. ITS NOT A HORROR.....ITS AN ANNOYING TASK RUN AROUND designed to look like a HORROR. Unfinished. I COULDNT TAKE ANYMROE OF THIS GAMe IT FRUSTRATED ME and ANNOYED ME!
