Tower defense fans get it under $2 and it is fun.
Gameplay Mechanics: 6/10 Narrative: 4/10 Graphics: 6/10 Sound and Music: 5/10 Replayability: 6/10 Innovation: 5/10 Last Hope: Tower Defense is a casual zombie-themed tower defense game that sticks to the basics while adding just enough character and variety to be a solid time-waster. It's not groundbreaking, but if you're a fan of the genre, it scratches the itch well enough. Gameplay mechanics are standard for the genre. You place various towers—like snipers, machine gunners, and bombers—to fend off increasingly tough zombie waves. Some light hero mechanics and tower upgrades add a bit of strategy, but overall it plays it safe. Score: 6/10. Narrative is minimal. There’s a loose post-apocalyptic zombie backdrop, but the game doesn’t build on it much. It serves more as thematic flavor than actual story progression. Score: 4/10. Graphics are decent for a mobile/indie tower defense game. Environments are clean and the tower/creature designs are readable, though nothing really stands out visually. Score: 6/10. Sound and music are passable. Basic effects and a repetitive soundtrack get the job done but aren’t particularly memorable. Score: 5/10. Replayability is moderate. There are a good number of levels, heroes, and tower types to experiment with, though it does start to feel repetitive after a while. Score: 6/10. Innovation is limited. It does introduce a few light RPG mechanics and hero units, but for the most part, this is classic tower defense territory. Score: 5/10. Bottom line: Last Hope: Tower Defense doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it’s an enjoyable, straightforward experience for fans of zombie survival themes and classic TD gameplay. Not a must-play, but worth checking out if you're in the mood for something casual and familiar.
One of the best TD games in recent history. While the steam version is lagging way behind from its mobile counter part, the game is complete and a challenge to complete. The game is cheap (cheaper on sale) but the content it provides is substantial so saying the game is a steal is quite accurate. As you can probably surmise from the comments and guides, the game is doable with just the base characters you have but getting the Mech and unlocking the Scientist will make whatever the game throws at you significantly easier. Now while you can breeze right on through with them, the levels at higher difficulties will be a challenge to complete even with the Mech and Scientist at your disposal. Definitely worth more than it currently is on Steam for. Enjoy! Note: The Steam achievements are all doable in normal mode. If you really want to milk the game, the in-game "Achievements" can be your next to-do. Should take about 15-20 hours to fully complete everything, less if you just go for the Steam achievements. :DarkMinion:
sehr gute sspiel, fuer den preis absolute kaufempfehlung
I have played many tower defense games, my first might have been Plants vs Zombies. This is quite different than PvZ but is also a great game. Last Hope has great character and I like the art style. The levels are challenging at times but not frustratingly so. It is quite engaging, I didn't stop to play other games once I started, like happens with many games. Even though I have thousands of games to play, I will be playing this one again. That is, once my son is done playing it through family sharing. Worth full price, no need to wait for a sale!

Classic zombie tower defense with a unique theme and setting, crafted to near perfection and offering fresh, fast-paced action with each new evolving level. The hero units are a standout feature, each with their own progression systems and active abilities that add to the many possible strategies, alongside the rich tower variety and plenty of enemy types. 7.8/10
