One of the most underrated horror games out there. Lakeview cabin threw me back to how it felt to see my favorite slasher movies for the first time, it did all the way back in 2015 when I found out about it and it still does to this day. The fact that I was able to remember how to complete each level with different strategies after more than 5 years of not playing the game should say enough about how much this game made such a lasting impact of me. The soundtrack and atmosphere? Absolutely amazing. The story? So creepy and dark yet so mysterious and hard to piece together, genuinely so fun and intriguing. The gameplay? Simple but very fun and effective, the only nitpick would be how convoluted things can be at times if you're trying to learn how to complete the games without any guides, but that's part of the fun, the trial and error and the discovering new things as you come up with ideas and try to see what works and doesn't! Overall an amazing spooky game, if you like horror, slashers, horror movies or just have nostalgia for the game (Like I do all four!) You're going to love this game! Recommended 100%!
