About

A little girl and her big sister live in a house surrounded by a huge farm. The big sister likes to grow potatoes. However, the little girl prefers to collect apples. Her dream is to be able to make dishes shared with the general public from her apples... when they will grow in her apple tree, of course!
When her big sister has to go away for a while, the little girl is left to her own. To not get bored, she wants to try to imitate her big sister by growing the same potatoes and taking them to the villagers.

I found this visual novel through a discord server I'm in, and I decided to check it out. I'm very glad I did! This was a nice little story, and I look forward to reading anything else the author comes up with. The way it was told reminded me of a fairy tale story of sorts (which it was nice to see that was the author's inspiration in the notes afterwards), and I think that style, and the artwork were really suited for this type of story. I also liked the use of color (things getting darker/grey) when the main character's mood or the tone of the story got a little darker. Including two different endings, despite it being a linear VN, was interesting too. I do like both of them (slightly favoring the happier one). It's a really nice story of finding yourself and your own happiness. The author has also noted that spelling and translation errors are being worked on. I noticed some, but there was nothing that was too jarring or broke my immersion of the game. All in all, this was a fun read that I would suggest checking out.
C'est bien
A short and rather polite story to talk about how it feels to become a 'token' individual whereas you desire your own individualism, and freedom to express who you truly are. Given I have been following Gud from when they primarily worked on fan-made things central to Umineko, I expected this visual novel to be somewhat structured in a similar sense of pacing, worldbuilding, ect. For what is accomplished, its noticeable that this is Gud's first honest attempt at making something on this scale, and with anything writing related (speaking from experience), the best way to feel out a path to follow to continually evolve is to simply get work out there for people to read! And what The Apple Girl accomplishes as a first *big* release is well collected, decently detailed and worldbuilt, and handles its emotional notes, that stand on their own. <3
Incredibly wholesome, [spoiler]I'm happy to see the little girl get the happy ending she deserves.[spoiler]
Si c'était un rêve, j'utiliserais mon fameux pouvoir: Réécriture. Shocked to the core.
cute little novel with very nice art. please give this one a chance.
Chouette petite histoire, bonne atmosphère et une mise en scène fluide et agréable.
Truly a exquisite piece of art. A tale following a little girl (hell yeah!), that go through the terrible tale of capitalism and social railroading, pushing her to simply be a mere tool without taking into account her own feelings! Truly terrible! A story about the unfortunate friction between doing what you love, and doing what you need to pay your bill! It's overall a cute, sweet story, I recommend!!!!
the dev is nice some of the wording is silly and makes me laugh but i know its because its translated haven't finished it yet but i've enjoyed what i've seen so far will update when finished
