Kuroinu 2 may be a sequel to the first game but you don't really need to have played it. I'd recommend it since I enjoyed 1 more than 2. Took me nearly 20 hours this time where 1 was around 15. While this does have more content imo that doesn't change that the first had better and more memorable scenes. There are really only so many **** scenes in a row you can read with no real story before you just start to get a little bored. Complete degenerate stuff nothing vanilla about it. The art, girls and voice acting are all great. The girl's endings usually all have a theme around them so YMMV on who you end up liking. Unfortunately does have mosaics and the translation needs work. Most of the time it's fine but occasionally the wrong person is speaking and it has obvious spelling mistakes. Ladomira > Luca > Mistiora > Astrid = Eleonora > Kohaku = Iris = Mel Mel > Serafina You need to have read all 8 girl's endings and then Ladomira's ending plays automatically. Visually all the girls are great with various sizes. But some do more fetishes than others so who you like depends on you.
雖然有想打差評的沖動但比起前作,畫風好看了很多給予推薦 但仍然碼大和有個鳥劇情,屬於個人不推薦但還是點推薦了 玩了一小時多真的有認真看劇情的我屬於是傻子

Kuroinu 2 Redux is a dark fantasy visual novel developed by Liquid and published on Steam by Shiravune, continuing a story steeped in war, political upheaval, and morally ambiguous ambition. As a sequel within the Kuroinu universe, it builds upon an established setting defined by conquest, betrayal, and shifting allegiances. Rather than presenting itself as a gameplay-heavy RPG or strategy title, the experience is firmly rooted in narrative delivery. Players step into the world of Derek Rondo, a formidable mercenary commander operating within a fractured empire, where loyalty is fragile and power is the ultimate prize. From the outset, the game establishes a tone that is grim, intense, and unapologetically mature in its themes. The central storyline revolves around continental conflict and internal instability. The once-dominant Nation faces threats from external alliances while grappling with corruption and decadence within its own leadership. Derek Rondo begins as a military defender, tasked with repelling enemies and safeguarding imperial authority. However, his motivations are far more complex than simple patriotism. Beneath the surface lies a personal ambition to reshape the balance of power itself. This tension between duty and self-interest drives much of the narrative momentum, creating a layered portrait of a protagonist who is neither hero nor straightforward villain. The political intrigue unfolds through strategic alliances, secret negotiations, and moments of calculated betrayal, giving the story a sense of scale that extends beyond individual skirmishes. As a visual novel, Kuroinu 2 Redux places primary emphasis on dialogue, character interactions, and branching decision points. The majority of the player’s engagement comes from reading detailed conversations, internal monologues, and story sequences that explore the motivations of an expansive cast. Each faction leader, noble, and mercenary carries their own perspective on the ongoing war, and the choices made by the player influence how relationships develop and how certain events resolve. While interactivity is limited to key decision moments, these branching paths contribute to replayability and offer varied outcomes depending on player alignment. The narrative structure rewards attentiveness, as subtle shifts in loyalty or tone can alter the trajectory of character arcs. Visually, the game adheres to a traditional 2D anime-inspired style common within the genre. Character sprites are detailed and expressive, designed to convey emotion and personality through subtle changes in posture and facial expression. Backgrounds depict castles, battlefields, and war-torn cities that reinforce the bleak atmosphere of a continent in turmoil. The artwork does much of the heavy lifting in establishing mood, balancing moments of grandeur with scenes of devastation. Japanese voice acting enhances immersion during key scenes, while English text localization makes the story accessible to a broader audience, though the quality of translation may occasionally vary in nuance. One defining element of Kuroinu 2 Redux is its mature content. The narrative includes explicit themes and adult-oriented scenarios that are integral to its tone and character dynamics. These elements are not incidental but woven directly into the political and interpersonal conflicts of the world. For established fans of the series, this continuity is part of its identity. However, for newcomers, the intensity and explicit nature of certain scenes can be polarizing. The game does not shy away from presenting morally gray or uncomfortable situations, which reinforces its darker storytelling ambitions but also narrows its audience to those comfortable with such material. In terms of pacing, the experience is relatively concise compared to sprawling RPG epics. Completion time depends largely on how thoroughly players explore branching routes, but the structure remains focused on delivering a tightly woven story rather than an expansive open-ended journey. There is little in the way of mechanical complexity beyond navigating menus and selecting dialogue options. This simplicity ensures that the narrative remains front and center, though players seeking strategic gameplay or interactive combat systems may find the format limited. The game’s success ultimately hinges on the strength of its writing, character development, and dramatic tension rather than gameplay innovation. What distinguishes Kuroinu 2 Redux is its commitment to portraying ambition within a collapsing empire. The world feels harsh and unforgiving, where alliances are temporary and authority is constantly contested. Derek Rondo’s arc embodies the core thematic question of whether power is seized for survival, dominance, or ideological change. The supporting cast further enriches this exploration by presenting contrasting visions of loyalty, honor, and self-preservation. Through these dynamics, the story maintains a consistent sense of urgency, with each chapter building toward broader shifts in the political landscape. Overall, Kuroinu 2 Redux delivers a focused and mature visual novel experience rooted in dark fantasy storytelling. Its strengths lie in its ambitious political narrative, layered character interactions, and atmospheric presentation. While its limited gameplay mechanics and explicit themes may not appeal to every audience, those invested in narrative-driven visual novels with morally complex protagonists will find a dense and dramatic continuation of the series’ universe. It stands as a title that prioritizes story above all else, inviting players to navigate a world where loyalty is fragile and power is always within reach for those willing to claim it. Rating: 7/10
