As soon as I bought it, I immediately tried the game and I found it very fun, entertaining and well done. The graphics are cartoon-style and are very accurate, as are the animations. Inside the game there are many puzzles and mysteries, never banal and that push to reason. Also very nice is the possibility of using more than one character. If I really have to find a fault, perhaps it is that the game is not very long, but it is the right one in my opinion. I absolutely recommend this game.
Cozy mystery puzzler on an alien planet. You try to uncover what happened to your memory with a new companion to help you. I've finished 2 chapters and got to talk to several characters to enjoy extra story. Loving the soundtrack so far! In some areas it is unclear what you can click, but solving the puzzles is satisfying nontheless. Should work well on low-spec. My favorite is chapter 3 and its varied art styles!
This game is a continuation of Nova's adventure from the Puzzle Journey. Nova's character has expanded a lot more in here, and her conversations with her companions are so fun that I often check if there's more dialogue. The puzzles still revolve around the same mechanics from the first game, but there are a lot of variations in them that you never feel that you are doing the same exact puzzle. Interacting with the objects are so interesting because you're never really sure how they will react and what some of them are used for. You have to really think and use your imagination in playing this game because the puzzles are so creatively made in how they are supposed to be solved. Solving them actually gave me a sense of fulfillment. For a casual game it's so highly entertaining and immersive. The cutscenes are so beautifully made, and the music and the sound effects complete the atmosphere of the game. The graphics and the environment are vividly detailed that I click around to see if they'll move. It's so exciting to find out more and more about the story and Nova. I'm so happy about this sequel.
Krystopia: Nova´s Journey is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is a tapping adventure game where you tap on your iPhone screen to move around fixed levels, tapping on various puzzles, which are typically solved by tapping or swiping/dragging elements around until completed. There's a quirky and somewhat charming fantasy theme, but any value that might have had for a serious game is wasted with the low quality technical delivery and mobile phone centric application design. From a technical perspective, as a mobile app, this doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The mobile app features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the mobile app (although the requirement for this to run on low end mobile phones is a factor), and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone. These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this mobile app is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 7 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality mobile app is to be expected. So, should you buy this mobile app? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam?
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this mobile app as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the mobile app (to date). Until this status changes, this mobile app will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this mobile app.
Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is $11 USD, on app stores, it's free. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay ELEVEN BUCKS FOR A FREE MOBILE APP just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because this can be played free elsewhere, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend. Who do they think we are?
I loved the storytelling and how beautifully made every detail in this game is. It was fascinating to step into the role as a planet savior and hero of the Krystopia. I also love that it is a sequel to the game Krystopia: A Puzzle Journey, where Nova Dune first time arrives on the planet. It makes me wonder if there might be more adventures for Nova in the universe. I enjoyed solving puzzles, even though they sometimes perhaps was a bit too challenging for me. Sometimes I had to ask for help from my partner. You also get a pet, Skri, who is an adorable and charming little dragon/lizard. Interesting to see a mini-game with Skri :) Overall I would say that the game leaves you with excellent feelings, worth its money. I am not a big fan of puzzle games that can be completed over the evening, Krystopia: Nova's Journey is nothing like that.
Обычный интерактивный квест с незамысловатыми загадками, Присутствуют элементы метроидвании. Показалось что диалогов многовато, но думаю, что игра найдёт своих любителей. https://youtu.be/QOaK3_6R8sQ
Roligt Pussel Spel men lite för svårt för mig
Cute and relaxing game, good puzzles too.
The story and gameplay are boring, there are non-game breaking bugs here and there. The achievements don't work properly.
