Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to the world of iron and blood, warrior!
Kromlech is a single player action-adventure game blending RPG, immersive sim, and rogue-lite. A love letter to the immersive RPGs of the early 2000s featuring modern design ideas and QoL features, while still keeping things distinctly old-school. Step into a mythical world of ancient past where steel is still young, sorcery treacherous, and the truth can only be found at the edge of a blade.
Inspired by the cultures of the European Iron Age, predominantly the Celts, as well as the greatest works of the Sword & Sorcery genre, Kromlech seeks to deliver darker and grittier kind of heroic fantasy. One where heroes are defined not by their moral virtue, but by the impact of their actions on the world.
Play as Cronach, a lone adventurer living through the world’s last days. Make good use of the time you have left and you may discover what is going on—and maybe even learn how to stop it, so that you can enjoy your hard-earned coin.

Changing Resolutions at full screen caused my game to freeze and lock me out of my whole primary monitor. Task Manager wouldn't even show. Needed a full PC restart because of this. Game runs horribly, my pc is great and even on low with balanced DLSS it runs like crap. Combat feels terrible. Telegraphs are hard to read and my character feels slow and clunky. Really wanted to like it but I'm gonna say no to this.
There is promise here, and a really cool premise, but it still needs a lot of time to cook. As it currently stands, the game is far far too punishing early on for progression to be realistically made. It's still pretty buggy and has performance issues.

By BlazingJacob
Story & Worldbuilding
Kromlech kicks off with a crackling spark of energy. The world feels ancient, hostile, and strangely inviting, like a campfire that warms your hands while reminding you it can burn them clean off. The lore is sprinkled in just enough to tease your curiosity, and the reactive “Scars” system hints at a world that remembers your failures a little too well. As I played, I kept thinking, this world is actually really good looking, dangerous, and absolutely brimming with potential. And judging from what others have said, I’m not the only one who felt this way. The atmosphere is one of the game’s strongest flames even in this early access state.
Gameplay
The combat has that deliberate, weighty feel that Souls‑lite fans crave. When you swing, block, or commit to an attack, it feels like it matters. The foundation is solid, and you can tell the devs know how to build a good fight. But the early game? That’s where the fire gets a little too spicy. The procedural generation can drop you into situations that feel less like a challenge and more like being tossed into a volcano wearing flip‑flops. Even players who enjoy tough games have been saying the same thing, the difficulty curve doesn’t curve, it spikes. Bloodborne’s wolves taught you the rules in the early moments of the game. Kromlech’s early enemies sometimes feel like they’re teaching you the consequences of rolling a bad seed.
Systems & Mechanics
The procedural world is ambitious, and you can see the potential glowing under the embers. But right now, the randomness can sabotage the onboarding. When your first hour includes enemies you’re not meant to fight yet, the learning experience becomes a gamble. Take the Lurgs. They’re intimidating, memorable, and honestly a great enemy type. But they belong in a curated introduction, not wandering into the starting campfire like they’re checking your ID. I met one on Day 2 after respawning, and he celebrated my death like he’d just won a chili‑eating contest. That’s not onboarding; that’s freaking hazing bro. Crises and Scars are another hot topic imo. The idea is brilliant actually, fail to resolve a threat, and the world becomes harsher. But when your first Crisis is “kill 8 wolves,” and those wolves have pathing that makes them orbit you like angry satellites, the system becomes a guaranteed burn. Add an alpha wolf that chunks half your health in one bite from off camera, and suddenly the world is Scarred whether you want it or not. Plenty of players have noticed the same thing as we did, the early Crises feel like they’re designed for someone who already beat the game twice. Healing is also a spicy mechanic. Shouting to heal is cool in theory, but standing still while enemies lunge at you is like trying to drink soup during an earthquake. A pushback effect during the shout would make the mechanic feel heroic instead of masochistic.
Graphics & Performance
Kromlech looks shockingly polished for an early access indie title. The lighting, foliage, creature designs, and environmental detail all come together beautifully. You can tell a talented team is behind this. The install size, however, is a bit of a bonfire at 46.9GB. There’s room for optimization through texture atlasing or procedural texturing. Even Witcher 3’s complete edition sits at around 57GB, and that’s a giant of a game. But again, the visual quality explains a lot of the weight.
Developer Feedback
Kromlech has the makings of an indie gem. The team clearly has heart, skill, and ambition. The world is beautiful, the combat foundation is strong, and the systems are creative. But the early game needs more curated heat and less wildfire chaos. Introduce enemy types gradually. Gate dangerous foes behind missions that teach players how to deal with them perhaps. Balance early Crises so they’re achievable. Give the healing shout a defensive kick. And smooth out the procedural spawn logic so the first hours feels like a challenge, not a punishment. If these adjustments are made, Kromlech could ignite the hearts of classic adventure RPG fans, Souls‑lite enjoyers, and rogue‑lite explorers alike.
Early Access Verdict
Despite the frustrations, I’m giving Kromlech a thumbs up because the potential is blazing bright. This game could become something truly special with the right tuning. The team is talented, the world is beautiful, and the systems are creative. Right now, Kromlech is a warm ember with the potential to become Blazetacular. Not quite a roaring inferno yet, but definitely not ashes gone cold. With updates, it could easily hit that near‑Blazetastic flame. I’ll be keeping an eye on future patches.
TL;DR
Kromlech is a good looking, ambitious early access adventure with strong combat foundations and a reactive world. The early game difficulty is overtuned, procedural spawns can sabotage onboarding, and some systems need balancing. But the potential is huge, the devs are clearly talented, and with refinement this could become an indie gem. EA Verdict: A glowing ember with Blazetacular potential for a 1.0 release in the future.
Terrible experience. I HATE the mechanics!
Европейский вариант "Конана-варвара". Довольно необычно для современных игр.
