Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 28 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Kotenok is a delightful retro platformer developed by NipoBox and published by NipoBox Publishing that combines classic side-scrolling gameplay with a charming feline protagonist and a colorful pixel-art world. At its heart, the game is a straightforward adventure about a lost kitten trying to survive a hazardous journey through a dangerous forest. While the premise is simple, the developers use that simplicity to their advantage, creating a focused experience built around precise platforming, exploration, and increasingly challenging level design. The story follows a small kitten separated from safety and forced to navigate unfamiliar territory filled with obstacles and threats. There are no lengthy cutscenes or complex narrative twists. Instead, the game's storytelling is communicated through its environments and the player's journey. The desire to guide the vulnerable kitten through the wilderness creates an immediate sense of purpose, making the adventure surprisingly engaging despite its minimalist narrative structure. Movement is the foundation of the experience, and Kotenok performs exceptionally well in this area. The kitten can run, jump, pounce, and perform a double jump, giving players a versatile set of abilities that gradually become essential as challenges become more demanding. The controls feel responsive and dependable, which is crucial in a platforming game where precise movement often determines success or failure. Every jump feels deliberate, and the overall movement system provides enough flexibility to make traversing levels consistently enjoyable. The game features fifty handcrafted stages that steadily increase in complexity. Early levels introduce the basics of movement and obstacle avoidance, allowing players to become comfortable with the controls. As the adventure progresses, new hazards and environmental mechanics are introduced, creating a satisfying sense of progression. The difficulty rises gradually, ensuring that players are constantly learning new skills without feeling overwhelmed. This careful pacing helps maintain interest throughout the entire campaign. One of the most appealing aspects of Kotenok is its level design. Rather than relying solely on difficult jumps, the game incorporates a variety of gameplay elements that encourage observation and experimentation. Players encounter spikes, moving dangers, enemy creatures, and environmental puzzles that require more than simple reflexes. Certain stages involve pushing objects, interacting with the environment, or finding creative ways to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. These additions help keep the gameplay fresh and prevent levels from feeling repetitive. Exploration is another important component of the experience. Hidden collectibles are scattered throughout the game, rewarding players who take the time to investigate every corner of a stage. These optional secrets add depth to the platforming and provide an incentive to replay levels in pursuit of full completion. Discovering a cleverly hidden collectible is often just as satisfying as overcoming a difficult obstacle, and the game does a good job of encouraging curiosity without making exploration feel mandatory. Visually, Kotenok embraces a bright and inviting pixel-art aesthetic. The forest environments are full of color and personality, helping create a world that feels welcoming despite the dangers lurking within it. Character animations are expressive, particularly those of the kitten itself, whose movements effectively convey both agility and charm. The visual style successfully captures the nostalgic appeal of classic platformers while maintaining enough modern polish to feel contemporary. The soundtrack complements the adventure nicely with retro-inspired melodies that reinforce the game's lighthearted atmosphere. The music remains pleasant throughout the journey and helps establish a sense of adventure without becoming repetitive. Combined with simple but effective sound effects, the audio presentation contributes significantly to the game's overall charm. Another strength of Kotenok is its accessibility. The straightforward controls and clear objectives make it easy for newcomers to understand, while the increasingly demanding stages provide enough challenge to keep experienced platforming fans engaged. The game avoids unnecessary complexity and instead focuses on delivering a polished experience built around well-executed fundamentals. This approach makes it easy to pick up and enjoy regardless of a player's familiarity with the genre. Its biggest limitation is that it rarely steps outside established platforming conventions. Players looking for groundbreaking mechanics or an intricate narrative may find the experience somewhat predictable. However, the game's purpose is not to reinvent the genre but to celebrate it. Within that framework, Kotenok succeeds admirably by offering a polished and enjoyable adventure that consistently delivers satisfying platforming challenges. What ultimately makes Kotenok memorable is its combination of charming presentation and solid game design. The responsive controls, carefully constructed levels, rewarding exploration, and lovable protagonist work together to create an experience that feels both nostalgic and timeless. It captures the essence of classic platformers while maintaining enough personality to stand apart from many similar indie releases. For fans of traditional platforming adventures, Kotenok offers a rewarding journey filled with clever level design, hidden secrets, and satisfying progression. It may not redefine the genre, but it demonstrates how effective simple ideas can be when executed with care and attention to detail. The result is a charming and enjoyable platformer that provides plenty of entertainment from beginning to end. Rating: 6/10
«Максимально милый платформер! 🐾 Приятная пиксельная графика, отзывчивое управление и очень уютная атмосфера. Прошел на одном дыхании, уровни заставляют немного подумать, но не раздражают. Для любителей котиков — мастхэв! 10/10 зумисов.»

It's simple enough at first glance, but the further you progress, the more difficult it becomes. The game has jump timings, jump timings that ruin the timings of other jumps, so you can't rush, and this makes the game challenging. A good introduction to the platforming genre, but it can also be quite a challenge)

Хорошая игра в пиксельном стиле где мы играем за котика под крутую музыку, а также в игре простое, но отзывчивое управление. Короче игра крута.
Это реально приятный платформер с продуманными уровнями и хороший пиксельартом. Рекомендую!
