Wow, this little toyline by lego sure is unique! I sure hope it doesn't eventually evolve into a space opera about the destruction and death of a god-like being trapped inside a massive mechanical structure, that of which encompasses the entirety of a galaxy's worth of creatures and life-forms who all live freely, until the creatures inside are forced to fight for survival and eventually live out their days as nomads, barely scraping by, until one day in which the god-like being is re-awakened and taken over by an evil spirit hell-bent on control and vengance for his half-brother (who is god) performing poorly, until he finds himself on mad-max world and eventually screws up so badly that he kills himself! Oh wait-

The game seems very inactive. If there were more people interested in this game, I'd give it a better review, but based on what I've managed to explore, there's very little to do. ChampionsAU should've added AIs to play against, different games, or even different regions to explore. As a long-time Bionicle fan, who loves trying out all kinds of indie games, this is very dull... and that's a huge problem. Two years later, you would think there would be more content, but it feels abandoned, and there aren't a lot of characters to talk to. Also, there's several errors in spelling and grammar ("matoran" instead of "Matoran", "Koli" and "Kohlii" both used to describe the sport). All that said, I do like the character customization. Unfortunately, that's about all I can say is good about this game. Until the devs can make the game more interesting, I'd say wait for better Bionicle fan games.
-Quick Review- I'd love to one day do a full review for this game, but in it's current state, it's incomplete. You can install the game, customize your characters colors, run around in the village, practice playing Kolhii by yourself or you can group up with up to 3 friends. Kolhii is similar to Soccer (Football for you non-American), each player has a goal (played up to 4 players in the game). It was invented to settle disputes against other villages. ...I think a campaign for this game would be really neat, but as it is, the developer is working on an even more ambitious project: "BIONICLE: Masks of Power" This is all Bionicle stuff (which are kinda like a special type of "Lego" ), which my family grew up playing with. Bionicle wasn't just neat construction LEGO things, they also had a magazine which I subscribed to, to get the occasional Bionicle comic book, which had it's own story for what these various characters were doing and what adventures they were having. ...In hindsight I'm over here like "oh yeah, the LEGO company was just selling me stuff through marketing". But it was still neat, and there were very few actual Bionicle games, eventually LEGO discontinued Bionicle due to low interest in the brand. However, thanks to the internet, it's eventually slipped into a "Cult Following" Category, being very popular with a rabid fan base my younger brother being quite the active fan. However one can only tip their hat to the developer "Team Kanohi" who is developing Bionicle Games. Good luck, and I hope to see a full release for both Bionicle: Marks of Power, and Kolhii Champions AU! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3019374576
One of the games ever made
This is a game for sure
I really like the accuracy of the models for the characters and creatures, but it's impossible to actually play at this point. The playerbase isn't there and there's no singleplayer content to really play.
I hope this gets more content soon and wont get butchered by lego
