KOBOLD is a new kind of horror experience that blurs the line between cinema and VR gaming. Step into the shoes of an urban explorer investigating the mysterious case of a missing boy. Pick up your flashlight and discover the secrets of an abandoned villa in the middle of a dark forest in Germany.

Played this game ... it is a terrifying glimpse into what Devs and people with know how can have a gamer experience. I did some research and the game uses an old German folklore the Kobold or (CHANGELINGS ) to its advantage . utilizing almost real time lighting and the fear of the unknown this game brings players to the brink of whats real and the line that blurs it and real life . it is much recomended . I urge vr players to pick up this title and see if they can overcome the true fear instilled by it.

- KOBOLD: Chapter I - Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
Can't launch in either WMR or Quest - joysticks beams don't reach the start menu buttons. Refund.
6/10 - OK, no other chapters Only bad, is that it has been discontinued. no other chapters, Total 40 mins long, mystery horror. works well with VD streamer, Quest 3. Nice visual, and sound, scary enough. Voiced letter, tapes, videos Enough to get you fast immersed into the story. get it at sale price.
A very solid one hour VR horror experience. Helps if you know German, really opens up the lore and helps you sink your teeth into it. However, I would still recommend it for non-German speakers. Tense and spooky without relying on over the top jumpscares or so much tension you are ready to jump out of your pants at any second. We need more VR experiences like this.
Really enjoyed the game and would rate it 10/10 but some smaller stuff put it down to a 8/10 like: No real menu, items sticking to hands rather than you actually having to hold them. Little nitpick, but the German poem book about the cellar was REALLY hard to read. It would be helpful to have captions, especially since it was in German. My flashlight was bugging out in the Other World, but it wasn't too dark, so I could still find my way and only later found out it should still be working. I was also a little disappointed that -SPOILER- The other way in the Other World (I vent Left First) gets you still the same ending but a different death animation, and you would miss out on the Creepy Forest chase. Other than that, it was highly enjoyable and so atmospheric, I was constantly on Edge. It had a lot of small details, like the spiders that crawl out of the toilet if you use it or that when you press Your Face against the Gap between 2 wooden boards, a girl appears out of nowhere (The Scary Art of the Game for me). I hope we get Chapter 2 sometime.
Very Good Game
Good little
atmospheric
German horror game I'll say it straight: I did enjoy the game. It's solid for what it is.
There are no actual enemies, and that's totally fine. I actually prefer that over being chased for 40 minutes while looking for keys or whatever.
So for me, this was a very enjoyable experience. I got scared by the silliest things, just walking around, hearing sudden noises or breathing behind me, trying to figure out what happened, and getting surprised by small details. I can recommend the game, BUT there are some minor performance issues on the highest graphics settings. I suggest switching to at least "Normal" quality. The best way to test it is to walk through the spawn area with the car and check for stuttering before getting into the game seriously. Well, that's it, a random little review. Hope it helps you somehow!
