Very good game, love it to play with friends sadly almost no players
It would be good if people actually played it
Honestly a very fun and intriguing game with plenty of new mechanics that will hook you in. But unfortunately our server only had 1 enemy so it was a really short match! If you have a lot of friends I think this will be an awesome party game
My review will be the same as many people... Awesome game, would love to play more. Only caveat is that the servers are mostly empty. It is extremely hard to find any challenge beyond the first 1-2 encounters.
Knightfall: A Daring Journey is developed and published by Landfall Games, and it carries the studio's unmistakable talent for turning bizarre ideas into enjoyable multiplayer experiences. Set in a whimsical medieval world, the game combines battle royale mechanics with cooperative play, asking teams of two to ride across the countryside in search of a legendary rose hidden within a castle. While the premise initially sounds like an elaborate joke, the title quickly proves that there is more substance beneath its humorous exterior. Landfall has always excelled at creating games that prioritize fun over convention, and Knightfall follows that philosophy from beginning to end. Matches place players in a large environment shared with numerous competing duos, all attempting to survive long enough to reach the castle. Players begin with little equipment and must explore settlements, gather resources, and acquire increasingly useful weapons. The game's progression system within each match is straightforward, but it remains engaging thanks to the constant pressure of enemy teams. Horseback traversal is a major highlight, giving movement a sense of speed and unpredictability that sets the game apart from traditional battle royale titles. Riding alongside a partner while trying to avoid incoming fire or racing through forests toward the next objective creates an entertaining sense of camaraderie that defines the experience. The game's day-and-night cycle adds another layer to its design. Daytime encourages exploration and preparation, while nighttime transforms the landscape into a dangerous arena where visibility is limited and ambushes become commonplace. This mechanic helps maintain tension throughout a match and prevents gameplay from becoming repetitive. Rather than simply shrinking a safe zone and forcing confrontations, Knightfall uses environmental changes to naturally alter player behavior. The result is a multiplayer experience that feels dynamic despite its relatively simple structure. Visually, the game embraces a colorful and stylized presentation that complements its comedic tone. Characters move with exaggerated animations, and the world strikes a balance between fantasy adventure and parody. The soundtrack and sound design reinforce this atmosphere, making every encounter feel appropriately dramatic while never abandoning the game's lighthearted identity. There is an undeniable charm to seeing armored knights charge into battle armed with firearms and improvised equipment, and Landfall wisely commits to the absurdity instead of trying to explain it away. Despite its strengths, Knightfall: A Daring Journey is not without shortcomings. Its biggest limitation is its reliance on an active online community. Since the title is built entirely around multiplayer matches, player population has a significant impact on the overall experience. Content variety is also somewhat limited compared to larger online games, and veteran players may eventually find themselves wishing for additional maps, objectives, or progression systems. Nevertheless, the game's accessible nature and short match structure make it easy to revisit, particularly when playing with friends. Knightfall: A Daring Journey succeeds because it understands that multiplayer games do not always need to be serious or overly competitive. It offers a refreshing alternative to genre staples by embracing creativity, humor, and cooperation. The combination of horseback exploration, shifting environments, and unconventional objectives creates memorable moments that linger long after a match has ended. Although its longevity depends heavily on community engagement, the game remains a testament to Landfall Games' ability to deliver imaginative concepts that stand out in a crowded market. Está muy guapo, aunque por el momento no me he encontrado con nadie y es que no sé si está muerto, pero aquí seguimos.
