Knife Sisters

Not too many games can balance positive and negative emotions as well as Knife Sisters does. It's character's are openly flawed but still likable. The narrative can be spooky and heavy but that doesn't make the warmer moments any less alluring. If you value different kinds of queer representation not frequently showcased in video games, this game is an absolute must own.

Какая-то кучка повесточных yeбaнoв и мистическая ccaнина с картами таро и ритуалами, если на старте кое-как следил за тем, что тут называется сюжетом, то в конце просто потерялся нaxyй среди всех этих гoмикoв, квиров, небинарных xyй пойми кого, зэй/зэм yeбищ, тpaнсoв и тд, во всех сортах подобных челиков я не разбираюсь, сорре, да и желания нет. Кстати, гг это тоже неопределившийся по жизни пацан, или тянка, или еще кто-то, да xyй их вообще разбери, этих небинарных, которое по кд плачет, ноет и разговаривает с плющевым мишкой... Более шизового бреда я давно не видел, если честно. Что-то мне подсказывает, данная внка прям очень мимо нашего человека будет. В самом тексте очень редко встречаются рофлянки и они не вывозят в соло всю ту происходящую на экране шизу. Отдельно отмечу контент для уважаемых дpoчил, его нет, ну как бы то, что тут подается за сценки... скорее вызовет засуху или скукожит ваш корнишончик. Почему я вообще это взял когда-то? Подкупила внешка, решил пощупать, расстроился. Из плюсов могу выделить неплохой саунд, отдельно я бы его не брал, но если будет выбор между "купить саундтрек" или "купить этот шедевр", уж лучше взять музяку чем этот соевый всблев.

Excellent audio and visual design mixed with a compelling narrative featuring a heavy focus on neurodiversity and informed consent. The characters felt real enough to remind me of people I've actually dated, and I loved the punk and goth aesthetic. I liked it even more than Ladykiller in a Bind! <3

The game is adult only. If you're looking in these comments wondering, is this appropriate for my 7 year old? you're on the wrong part of steam. Stop that. Look, if you're not here to get down and dirty with some LGBTQ folx in some situations that you'd rather your parents didn't walk in in on you playing then this ISN'T the game for you. If that's your cup of tea or something you feel like you can handle for the sake of the story, keep your hands on the mouse and keyboard and play Knife Sisters. (Or don't keep your hands on the mouse and keyboard, I'm not your mother) The art style of this game is super cool and I kept forgetting it was in black and white. I thought that would be a legit concern for me being that my brain likes happy fun colors and flashing lights, but the story was engaging and (honestly) made me feel uncomfortable enough reading it that I didn't get bored. Did I say uncomfortable? I'm a woman from the Midwestern US and here we believe that buttons are meant to be buttoned, so I'm not accustom to such flagrant displays of sexual interaction. It was done in a way that, while I was surely red faced, it didn't feel exploitative. It was necessary for the story and while I may not go back and try to get all of the achievements despite it being an easy game to do so, it was worth visiting. It was really cool to see some queer content most importantly. Most games are so incredibly heterocentric that this was a breath of fresh air that, while I wasn't sure I could handle it, made me confront myself and ask why am I uncomfortable? That's a longer discussion about American purity culture, but this may be a great game for some folx looking to experience more queer love stories and story lines. That said, the main plot of the game itself will not be too shocking to some while others will likely feel as if every twist comes out of left field. Just depends on your familiarity with the genre. Looking forward to more games from Trancenders Media. This is clearly a labor of love and the art style is worth visiting alone.

Não gostei. É um jogo extremamente narrativo, mas não é uma narrativa interessante, que te prende. Reembolsei. É melhor ler um livro.

Really good overall. Gave me Ladykiller in a Bind vibes (which is never a bad thing) but the main story feels a little less focused than I think it could have been. The best bits are just the casual interactions with other characters, that's where the writing really shines since every character feels pretty distinct and well written. Also I really liked the hand-drawn sort of gothy art style, I can see why it would be a bit offputting for some people, but it really gives the game a unique aesthetic.
