Kitten Lost Her Box

I had bought this game very cheap during the summer sale bundled together with a few other cheap games. The cute aesthetics caught my eye and I love platformers. It’s supposed to be a precision platformer where you have one bit of health and anything that touches you will kill you, but I felt the hit detection was a little wonky at times. It’s an inoffensive game at worst and really just reminds me of those simple flash games. You could definitely tell this dev is a bit of a Mega Man fan with how the cat zones into levels like it was beamed down. The ducky boss throws itself at you like the yellow devil! I thought that was funny. Fair warning: there is a boss rush level toward the end where if you die at any point, you have to restart the whole thing over again. Which kind of sucks because I died by accidentally tilting the screen a bit too high and it treated a zone you are supposed to fall down to progress through into a death pit. Sads. I don't know if I would recommend this game to anyone except platformer and cat enthusiasts. It's cute for sure but also kind of unmemorable. If you’re just super curious to try it out, get it on sale.
