Kiro II is a text-controlled rpg with leveling, stats and a loads of gear to explore. It truly is a impressive sequel over the original Kiro and with the addition of 6 player multiplayer you can slay some baddies with buddies. Overall the game has plenty to explore between rare gear, the new magic system, new monsters, and beautiful levels. Nothing really can beat a couple beerus with the bois and monster slaying, thats for sure

As much as you beg and plead, Mavis Beacon will not come and save you. 10/10 would walk left and let my friends take all the damage again. --TypeRacerPro (19 wpm, 82% accuracy)
Text Based? Randomly generated levels? Leveling? Loads of Loot to Collect? Multiplayer AND a Magic system? When I first checked Kiro 2 out I didn't know what to expect, but the simple Command System combined with gorgeous old-school aesthetics won me over in just in the first level. If text-based sounds intimidating think again, it only adds to the tension of attacking and defending from enemy attacks. When played with friends, the fun is upped immensely. Best in person but still amazing over discord, Teamwork and finding your role in the party is just as important as getting as much loot and treasure as you can. The Level generation guarantees a new experience every time, and it can be just as much to fun to race your friends to the end as it is to help the group ;) Check out Kiro 2 if you haven't, it's a bountiful entry into the old-school genre.
Decent old school RPG, it will give you a good time of fun.
"KIRO II: The Wizards Guild" is an interesting but failed attempt to ressurect retro gaming by digging up one of the things almost everyone is glad died when games like this did; The text interface. So you play this game through the text prompt, forgetting that the mouse was invented, and uh otherwise it's just a mediocre RPG. It's intended for 6 players co-op, which we'll get into a bit later in the postmortem. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. But what's funny about this, if you remember, is that this is a 6 player multiplayer game. So, hopefully, these players were all in the same game together. Otherwise that would mean the game never even reached the very low maximum capacity needed to be played as intended, and that would be even sadder than the rest of the game turned out to be. And that peak player count only ever happened once. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
