About Kings of Emperor Bonaparte:
Kings of Emperor Bonaparte extends the classic vanilla wargame skirmish by providing a dynamic, persistent 24/7 war that anyone can join at any time. This online PvP experience recreates the intensity of the Napoleonic Wars, offering players the chance to take part in a massive, ongoing conflict that evolves with every skirmish and battle. Set in the historical region of Alessandria in Northern Italy, players will fight for control of key locations, pushing the frontlines and changing the tides of war with every victory and defeat. Future plans include expanding the map to cover the full breadth of the Napoleonic campaigns, from Paris to Moscow.
Players can choose to side with either the French Empire or the Coalition forces, engaging in fierce battles to capture towns and strategic positions. Each faction brings its own unique playstyle and tactical options, from powerful infantry formations to decisive cavalry charges. You'll need to adapt to changing battlefield conditions, plan your assaults, and coordinate with your allies to achieve victory.
The game offers an immersive historical experience, with authentic units, weapons, and tactics inspired by the Napoleonic Wars. Whether leading a cavalry charge or commanding artillery to bombard enemies, you'll be immersed in the chaos and strategy of 19th-century warfare. The persistent nature of the game ensures that every skirmish affects the greater war effort, making each player's contribution meaningful in the grand campaign.
Do you have what it takes to change history? Join the fight in Kings of Emperor Bonaparte and lead your faction to victory!

got the game a bit ago, wanted to wait a bit to let the game get polished a bit before reviewing, but felt like its been enough time to give a review. did a quick run again recently to make sure the problems were still preasent. the game is an interesting primes, and I do want to like it. but, it is lacking so many quality of life features, and lacking a generally good user interface. It's an interesting concept being a pve real time tactical game that you can play with everyone all at once. but for that to work, you need to be able to tell the difference between your own soldiers, and other players, as is all soldiers on your side are the same color, making the only way for you to tell which unit is your own is to manually keep track of them. as a tactics game, feedback to the user is severally lacking, when you tell your units to go somewhere, they will just start to slooooooowly slide on over there no travel lines to confirm they are going where you want them which is a problem especially with Calvary, as it just feels like they're randomly skidding around on ice when i want them to go into 1 very specific location then for this specific type of tactical gameplay, where soldier rotation should matter a ton it is a pain to actually rotate them, especially as a real time tactics game. to rotate a soldier, rather then selecting your soldier, and telling them to move to position in a specific rotation you have to instead select the soldiers you want to rotate, and hold down either "q" or "e" as they sloooooooooowly rotate as you desire its an interesting premis, but right now feel like the game should focus on gameplay feel and readability.

Keep it up! The AI still needs improvement, as some units don't respond to commands, get stuck, and can't move. Also, address the issue where troops can move beyond the map's borders. Add a reload time for spawning troops. Additionally, fix the slow rotation mechanics, and consider adding an arrow to indicate the direction the troops are looking.
Maybe there is a game here but you'd have to find another player. I found nothing.
"Kings of Emperor Bonaparte" is a very, very amateurish attempt to make a strategy wargame in the Napoleonic era... sure, not the biggest draw for these games, but Total War: Napoleon did pretty well, and unfortunately for the developer here, Total War: Napoleon exists. I mean sure, that costs money, but this is garbage in comparison. Sure, the game touts online PvP, too, but there's no players for obvious reasons. What do you do in the game? Control Napoleonic era armies... but the graphics are so phoned in they're just boxes. You don't even get a proper little picture of a cannon or a dude on horseback on your units, that's too hard and too graphically intensive I guess. Just red and blue squares with a little black pixelblob to represent the unit. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 6 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Napolyon Avrupası'nda geçen kalıcı bir çevrimiçi savaş oyunu. Zafere ulaşmak için piyade, süvari ve topçu birliklerine komuta edin. Ordular ilk hedefiniz......
i tried both factions which are basically the same right now. it's a nice concept/proyect BUT: There's core gameplay bugs that need to be addressed URGENTLY with units (infantry) movement mostly, idk what causes it, but sometimes infantry doesn't want to move "forward" no matter where you click, and they become stuck going backwards/retreat or sideways into places they get stuck instead while playing around zooming on the map (doesn't happen to cavalry or artillery) It would be cool if these could be worked out and fixed, and also having more people to play with, but honestly if the basic gameplay is bugged, until fixed there's no way people will play it, needs some love and updates first, then it would be good to try
troops are moving like steven hawking
just no good
the movement is buggy and some units ignore orders and turn to run back to spawn.Other than that the game has great potential.
