About
Overview
War of Dots is a minimalist real-time strategy game. Command your armies in real-time battles across a variety of maps. Capture cities, manage resources, and defeat your rivals.

Game Details
The key idea in War of Dots is simplicity. Unlike most other strategy games, it doesn’t rely on complex mechanics.
There are only two types of units: light – perfect for fighting in numbers, effective in most terrains, and cheaper to produce; and heavy – slower and less maneuverable, effective only in clear terrain, but with high damage and health, making them ideal for breakthroughs and impenetrable defenses.
The economy is just as simple. Cities produce new units and supply existing ones. Each city supports up to five units; if there are more, the excess units will starve. By capturing cities, you gain an economic advantage over your opponent.
That’s all you need to know! Download the game and prove your place in history alongside legends like Napoleon and Alexander the Great.

It's a decently fun game though it gets boring quickly especially when you realise sitting there and doing nothing is the way to win. The lack of navy or air force makes this game bland and attacking is just basically whoever has the most units in an area. Also probably my fault but I watched an enemy just throw a unit in the open to capture a city and it worked, there was no units even backing it up since I encircled him straight away but because he captured it, I had to literally siege the city for a few minutes basically wasting lots of resources. I'm hoping this game gets more stuff added since its pretty cool but idk.

eh its mid, also too broke for hearts of iron IV 🥀
made my youtube channel not depressing 10/10
♥♥♥♥ you.
The worst UI I've ever had the displeasure of using.
This would have been a flash classic back in the day
I love operational wargames that allow encirclements - and War of Dots is everything I want from HOI4 but in neat little 20 min packages that fit better in my schedule. Only thing I still lack are good options to queue up with friends - but it gets a strong upvote from me regardless.
Small RTS game, but really fun .. i love it
