Kingdom Quest is a bit of a time waster here and there. It has a lot of micro-managing and you need the game open for anything to upgrade or gather. Certainly not for everyone and I have my gripes. UI - Only one resolution. Why not more? Sometimes I actually like these type of games at 1280x720 or resize them whilst playing other games. - Enabling fullscreen resets after checking it. Gameplay - No real tutorial besides an objective system. Didn't take me long to understand how the game works, but a bit of an introduction would be nice. - Pressing ESC always goes back to the main menu without a "are you sure" prompt. - Cannot access settings while in the game scene. - I found the chat a bit tedious when the messages disappear and the text has too much space between messages. - There's a speed up option. Not sure if this is intended but it seems redundant in a game like this since it feels cheaty. - Cannot put workers to work (as far as I could see). You have to constantly go to Forest->Farm->Mine->Merchant->Rinse&Repeat yourself to do anything. Speed up option can be removed and if you put workers to do the gathering, that'd be a plus and on-track to "Idler" status. - Closing the game and reopening doesn't calculate progress and you're left with the progress you closed the game on. - 5+ hours for the first upgrade? Oookkayyy. That was a fast wall to hit. Edit due to response: I'm aware how workers work, but it's very counterproductive how the logic behind it interferes with the "Idler" tag.
A fiddly clicker with less to do than most clickers.
