Hey played this game for 32 Hours, This game is kind of fun thought i found that there is a little to little content and things to do
I played this game when it first came out and it was quite janky back then. When they finally went full release they have made quite a few improvements. The game is not bad, it reminds me a bit of Everquest back in the day with the old school graphics and the mechanics. The game is now FREE to Play, so I say go ahead get in and enjoy the old school days. I did a video on the game after it went Full Release last year and I did have a great time. I am planning on jumping back in again to do more future episodes! Check out some of the gameplay below. https://youtu.be/xCe0GIONUbU
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
"Kingdom of Atham: Crown of the Champions" is a weird dead World of Warcraft ripoff with a tiny fraction of the content and a slew of bugs and polish issues. From Canada. I'm pretty sure most video games are available to Canada including World of Warcraft, so one wonders about the decision making process of developers who see a successful game and decide gamers on Steam want to pay money (this is NOT free) for an inferior copy. What do you do in the game? Nothing, there's no players. Unless you like the idea of playing a crap MMO all on your lonesome. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. On the important matter of pricing and value for gamers, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $20 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Even after that, you're expected to pay up $12 USD to unlock content through DLC purchases. The game should not be considered completely unlocked until you empty your wallet for the developer. This is misleading and predatory pricing on a product falsely marketed as "free". Despite being a "free" game, this couldn't break triple figures, according to the player counts we can see on SteamDB, it's just in the double digits, and now it's not even getting those kinds of numbers. There's over 130 million gamers on Steam... this failed to appeal to almost all of them, most likely because of some or all of the reasons I supply in this review. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
Enjoyable game. Feels like a MMO you're playing solo. Lots of crafting depth, and tons of different weapon specializations. I just wish there was more documentation on the game online or in Steam Community. Apparently there's a floating island that I haven't been able to figure out how to get to and have fought the final boss. In official Discord, not much information either. Has a lot to offer if you enjoy building and MMO-style play.
a floaty sometimes lovely sometimes ugly piece of exploration collectathon craft a wood house, rock house, iron house, steel house, fire house, horse-wolf-crab-boar-skeleton stogged house, etc etc house. I got borded.
fun game easy to play not over complicated crafting system like some games of this type best part is its free to play
It was fun while it lasted - less than 3 hours. Used CTRL X to get myself out of a ditch glitch and game continuously crashed after. Unfortunate, but this is what happens when people(devs) stop working on their games.
Just got to what i believe is the ending point of this game. Made it to the point of unveiling the floating isles, but no floating isles are to be found. aside from that, here's my opinion.. This game is amazing. it is a true indie game, a hidden gem of awesomeness. To the crafting, leveling up, farming (in the literal sense too) and building your own base of operations. i'm not sure if there's going to be any further development on this game, but it has so much potential and is highly under-rated. Even coming upon the portal to hell the first time was exciting and a WTF moment. like.. what did i just do??? how did i do it??? once i figured it out, i was able to make it happen again. SO much fun and excitement!!!
Cool game can play it like a single player mmo like rpg with building if you play in sigle player mode. Cool I love it so FAR ......
older graphics but fun to play
