Haven't played KH since I was like 10-12 years old, I had always wanted play it again but having grown up more with the Xbox 360 / One and no longer had my old PS2, I was never really able too. I had all of the bundles in my Wishlist for a while as many other games usually are, I kinda forgot about it. Until, I saw it was on sale, and then noticed all 3 were on sale for about 40$ total (may have been 60 but I'm not sure) and so far I've beat KH1, skipped playing Re:Chain and just watched the cutscenes cause I'm not dealing with that loll, watched Days (which I remember fondly as an avid DS user growing up) and now currently on KH2. I know the FINAL MIX versions are all technically HD remasters of the original games, but they do so in a why that still keeps the charm of the PS2 graphics with upscaled textures, so its not as "uncanny" on a higher res screen and I really enjoy that over a full remaster with high res character models and modern graphics that my 6 year old PC cant handle lol.

been a kingdom hearts fan for years, so replaying this just felt right. the gameplay still feels good, the soundtrack is still amazing, and revisiting all the disney worlds brought back so many memories. somehow the story still confuses me, but that's just kingdom hearts lol. had a great time playing it again.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PEAK story that ties a lot of loose ends i had about kingdom hearts three ( with it being my first KH game), like that old guy who calms Xehanort, why tf so Sora-lookin' guy was there. Why Terra knew a dead soul. Why the guy was dead at all. Why Aqua was in the Realm Of Darkness. Why there was a massive ass chess analogy orbitting the whole third game. It was really satisfying getting the answers to all these age-old questions and I finally can truly appreciate the series as a whole.
