As a narrative puzzle game, Kine introduces characters and mechanics through story-driven levels and character dialogues. Starting with the simple drum, then the accordion, and finally the trombone, it slowly layers their unique limb movements until you're coordinating all three. The level design is brilliant because it perfectly controls the state-space, even though it's a 3D multi-character game: By keeping the core logic mostly 2D, using the third dimension for movement or creating platforms, and setting obstacles on a compact level map, the game stays intuitive. I never felt overwhelmed by the 3D space, especially since the characters usually occupy different Z-axis heights. Some of my favorite highlights: Some New Dance Moves and Month One introduce everyday objects like toolboxes and carts. The momentum-based puzzles in The Tunnel of Love and Shall We Dance. The way Euler's movement is restricted after getting "injured". That brilliant fusion of two robots' movement styles in the Finale, A Strange Duet.

Run that .bat file instead of Kine.exe If that works then this is the processor issue. I am very sorry for this issue! I'm trying to figure out a better permanent fix <3
This game has issues launching on certain Intel CPU gens - I read about 10th and 11th gen, but I have a 13th gen and it has the same issue. It launches, runs for about 5 seconds, then stops. By these calculations, I just launched the game 60 times in a row to be able to write this review and tell you not to buy this game. Even if it works for you, the fact that the developer has still not fixed this 5 years after release, after knowing about it as well, and releasing another game since then, tells me this is abandoned and is not a developer I want to support. Shame, as this game looked somewhat interesting to at least try. Avoid.
I adore this game. If you like puzzle games, I definitely recommend this game. If unsure whether the game is worth the price, it occasionally goes on sale for 75% off. The puzzle mechanics are unique from anything I've ever played before. The game doesn't do the best job guiding the player into discovering new mechanics, but it's still very satisfying when you find them. The music and art are good and the dialogue is cute. Overall, the game feels very well polished. It's a short and sweet game. I see some people's reviews saying that the puzzles require trying a bunch of input sequences to stumble into the solution, but that isn't really true. The level layout almost always indicates a general way the puzzle needs to be solved, then you need to fill in the gaps. Sometimes the character dialogue can also be a good indicator that you're on the right track. You can also work through the puzzle backwards to find a point in the puzzle you need to get to. Of course you'll still have to try different movements to get to the right solution, but not every puzzle can be a pure logic puzzle where you don't have to make any guesses to find the solution. There is only one switch character button, which rotates through the characters' appendages. It becomes tedious when you have four appendages to control and need to switch between them after every 1 or 2 moves, so it would be nice if there was a button to rotate in the other direction and if you could use the 1 through 4 keys to pick specific appendages. Another problem in the game is that sometimes your view of the level is obscured by decorating blocks that should be turned invisible from the camera perspective. These issues don't even come close to ruining the game for me, but I do think they are valid critiques of the game.
I love this game! Honesty, it has one of the best blend of narrative with actual gameplay mechanics I've seen. Puzzles are great and quite challenging. Story is touching, characters are charming and the whole game just feels loved by the devs! Gonna recommend Kine with every opportunity I will get.
