Crimsonland 'clone'. Not as polished, but still fun.
- Like Crimsonland, sometimes you just need the right RNG to win a level. It does get easier when you unlock more weapons and power-ups, as your total chance for a drop seems to increase. But unfortunately the power-ups disappear way too fast IMO, (and there's no flicker or indication that it's almost gone), and enemies can just be all over such that it's impossible to get to most of the drops - at least in later levels.
- Bad AI. This is probably the biggest issue with the game: All enemies move directly towards your current position - making every enemy essentially identical and your movement options are more strictly limited (mostly circling around backwards). This also makes it so any pick-ups they drop are impossible to collect without taking damage. Contrast that with Crimsonland which has (some) enemies with a set route until attacked (meaning they'll at times be moving away from you allowing you to get into a better position or have more options to position yourself).
+UPDATE! - I think the dev may have updated this game. I've noticed now since playing not all of the enemies will target you to begin with. But most will, and I think if you get in range of them that will switch their AI to now start going after you versus a pre-programmed route/direction (similar to Crimsonland where enemies have default routes vs all swarming the player). BUT, it does eventually devolve into every enemy coming after you and you have to circle around a clump of them.
- No damn crosshair sprite. How lazy can you get? You have to aim w/ mouse pointer.
- No dodge/roll - with the amount of enemies, levels are practically impossible without the right RNG, but this was my experience with crimsonland, too.
+ Has a "store" in the menu where you use money collected from the levels to unlock access to more weapons. All unlocked items will have a chance to randomly drop when defeating an enemy.
- No (permanent) character upgrades. There's a speed-up power-up but it's time limited.
- So far haven't gotten any perk choices like Crimsonland offers from earning xp during each level.
- This game appears to be far shorter. But also...
+ Far cheaper than Crimsonland.
+ I like fighting these ugly monsters ([i]*cough*zerg*cough*[/i]) more than the ones in Crimsonland (though those are better looking sprites and ALL are animated! - a lot of these just bounce up and down as they move around)
UPDATE: I just found some new animated enemies - they look like skeletons with blades for arms. They also look rather familiar like from another top down shooter...

- SFX & GFX/sprites ripped from StarCraft, Crimsonland, Counter-Strike and probably some other games. (But I guess that's how you make cheap games, [spoiler]you 'borrow'[/spoiler])
Also, R for reload; F for flashlight...
