Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Feels like classic Nerdook. Chaotic and you have to figure things out on your own, but the process of exploring and improving is a lot of fun. 7 hours in it feels a little too easy, but I'm excited to keep exploring and I have possible unlocks on the horizon that I hope makes it harder.
Very elegant way to make a player involved with the stone tablets for quite a number of runs and then give him a reason to stop playing without big ending splash but just a message to soak in =) Bravo

I'll give it a positive review more as an incentive to Nerdook. Like many others here, I've played his games since Kongregate times (and probably have literally played ALL of his games; from Kong to Steam), I've always thought and still think that he's one of the most creative indie devs out there who isn't afraid to try different things. So I'll give that "free credit" to him. My criticisms, though, are also pretty much in line with many others: the game is fun, it has a lot of potential, but so many rough edges that detracts from the FUN you could have. Yes, it is a roguelike game and as such randomness is a thing. I understand that. But RNG plays a big role here, sometimes making the game totally unbalanced. When I think that I'm having a good run, there's a freaking huge @ss wave, right beside my city that simply overwhelms my defenses. Very frustrating. Actually "having a good run" is already hard enough because some upgrades aren't as good as the others. And some are simply a necessity (gold, food and wood, basically). Talking about resources: food is by far the most essential resource. And yet on two seasons you suffer from a food shortage... Why? Also why all bosses have two stages? Why sometimes bosses can have physical AND magical resistance??? They just become some boring damage sponges. Even the metaprogression doesn't seem to affect much. I have the tree fully upgraded and still more often than not do not reach Winter. (the game doesn't say anything about that, but I guess that for every time you do defeat the Rat King the game gets a bit tougher? Only that would explain I the game still feels "challenging" even with the Tree fully upgraded) Enemies scale WAY more than you do. How come my main character has an allegedly 3500dps and suffers to kill normal enemies? How much do those rats scale each wave, for god's sake???? The good thing is that those balancing issues can be addressed and I deeply hope that they do. There's all the Nerdook charm here, it "only" needs a better implementation. EDIT: after having played more and about to get all the achievements, I'll update some of my complaints: 1) Food is definitely on the low side. You should get twice the food. It's not uncommon to build many houses and none of them give you food upgrade, leaving you with inevitable shortage (not to mention that both Autumn and Winter makes your hard earned food production suffer a shortage); 2) Wood also should be easier to get. It stars off ok, but as the buildings get more expensive and you need more wood, you have to wait several days to build one thing; 3) Because wood and food are on the short side and they are the most important resources, you end up not exploring the whole game. There are buildings I've never used because I simply can't afford; 4) I take back the thing about "the game getting harder after each win". In fact it just a matter to know what works best. (those fire and water upgrades are a must!) 5) In the end my biggest issue is that after you know what works best, the game becomes a bit cookie-cutter. I still believe that if some balancing was done, the game could even be a bit longer so you could build more things and explore the game further. In the end I recommend the game more now than when I first wrote the reviews. But it's easy to understand why some people might get frustrated.
Another incredible game by Nerdook as always. Keep up the amazing work!
Fun and addictive, not perfect but very fun and worth the money. As an aside. did have horrible frame rate but turning antialiasing or the narrator off fixed it.
