This is an extremely fun game.
It may appear as dated as to graphics or it may appear childish, but it's far from that!
At the elite difficulty it's challenging, there is a lot of dying and re-trying specific missions.
It is skill based, requiring mostly agility and a little tactics.
The tactical aspect is very downgraded, because in this game it is encouraged to rush forward, as opposed to rogue-like games when you have to think carefully about every action you will next make in order to complete a level.
Why I wrote that this game encourages rushing-charging forward like a bull?
Because this game has a unique rule: every thing you can pick on the ground ( health packs and weapons ) HAVE A TIME LIMIT.
So, in order to make use of most health packs that you will randomly receive as a reward for killing enemies and blowing up buildings, you have to rush forward to get them....you must not wait. If you wait the health packs is gone! But when you go forward to get them, you will encounter new enemies that are shooting at you! And so on and so forth.
This is a little odd, because 1) it is not realistic, in real life ammo doesn't dissappear after a time, it is consumed by USING. 2) No other shooting game in the world has this paradigm.
But overall, while playing this game you will feel like Rambo, battling against entire armies of criminals, evil cults and dictatorships.
It is a very rewarding game ( for example - leveling up your char to the highest military ranks, - upgrading your char to maximum abilities ), and it has a good variety of maps.
Too bad ,it is short. I finished it in 8 hours.
