About
Karma Keepers is a chill incremental strategy game about restoring wandering souls, building a Faith economy, and tuning a realm that gets busier as it grows.
You start collecting Faith from Totems, restore souls before corruption reaches them, and choose the upgrades that open new jobs. Over time, more of the routine work can be automated, but the realm still needs your decisions when pressure builds.
Restore Lost Souls into Keepers, then spawn the roles your realm needs next. Some feed your economy. Some keep resources moving. Some defend the realm when things go wrong.
Use Prayers and Extractors to move Faith and Aether through Totems.
Use Recollectors to gather loose Faith before it fades.
Use Keeper Warriors, Evangelists, and Sacred Walkers to fight, restore, and stabilize souls under pressure.
Build a setup that keeps Faith flowing, stands up to Corruption Waves, and moves more souls toward becoming Eternals.
Corruption Waves reduce the Karma of every soul in your realm. If a Lost Soul falls too low, it becomes a Shadow. If an Incursion begins, Shadows enter the realm and start breaking the setup you were relying on.
You can intervene and help, unlock better roles, improve your Totems, or push upgrades that make the next wave easier to survive. A calm realm can become a problem fast if you ignore the timer.
Collected Faith becomes Karma through your realm's Influence. Fill the Karma Bar to earn Ascension Points and push toward the next tier.
Higher Karma tiers bring Demon Incursions. Demons arrive with shields and block further progress until you deal with them. Break their shields, defeat them, and open the next stretch of the run.
Blessings improve the current realm: better Faith value, stronger Totems, new Keeper roles, safer Incursions, and more automation.
Miracles are larger upgrades bought with Aether. They unlock new upgrade branches and improve whole systems at once.
Divine Rebirth ends the current realm, keeps your Ascension Points, and lets you buy permanent Ascension Upgrades before starting again with a stronger foundation.
Karma Keepers is for players who enjoy upgrade trees, resource loops, automation, and watching small systems grow into a self-running setup.
Expect a calm loop with pressure spikes: guide souls, shore up weak spots before Corruption Waves, break Demon gates, and rebirth into a stronger realm.

It's fine. Watching your little guys wandering around is kind of fun, and when your cursor size is big enough it's fun to see big swathes of shadows get sent to the Karma Realm at once. In the later parts when the pace picks up it really gets flowing. And the developer is pretty responsive, when I asked for an accessibility feature it was added within a few days of release. That said: It's not an idle game, it's highly active, and even once you have automation set up you're still doing a lot of active play and that never really stops. But the automation is pretty unclear on how to do it and there's very little control over your little guys. When you have 1 totem that's not a big deal, but when you have 8 and half your totems don't have any collectors because they're all packed together on the others, it gets frustrating. Additionally, the prestige mechanic really feels like a trap, by the time you have enough points to get any real benefit from them, you'd be better off just sticking it out to the end of the run. A run is 3ish hours, even spending a bunch of time kind of flailing. I don't feel a need to do another one. So it's fine. I think it's absolutely fine for a five buck incremental, and I don't regret the time spent. While I did get this for free from a Reddit giveaway, I wouldn't feel bad spending five bucks on it. There's better incrementals, but there's a LOT of worse ones as well.

As an atheist, I can only assume this is an accurate representation of the afterlife.
A fantastic strategy idle game that hits all the right notes. Building up your economy, automating the kingdom, and managing the divine Reincarnation mechanic to beat the corruption makes for a deeply rewarding loop. Highly recommended if you love watching numbers grow and satisfying incremental progression!
Was chill and fun, if you got the $ full send it!
