Плюсы: атмосферный открытый мир — живописные пейзажи и проработанные локации усиливают погружение в фэнтези‑вселенную; свобода действий — можно выбирать порядок выполнения заданий, исследовать мир в своём темпе и находить скрытые секреты; глубокая система квестов — задания не сводятся к «убей‑принеси»: встречаются головоломки, переговоры и моральные дилеммы. Минусы: нет русской локализации — весь текст и диалоги на английском языке; местами устаревшая графика — визуальное оформление уступает современным RPG, может не впечатлить визуально ориентированных игроков; медленная прокачка на ранних этапах — прогресс ощущается не сразу, что может снизить мотивацию в начале игры. Итог: классическая фэнтезийная RPG для любителей открытых миров — подойдёт тем, кто ценит свободу исследования, хочет погрузиться в атмосферную вселенную с множеством секретов и готов проявить терпение, чтобы раскрыть все возможности развития персонажа.

"Karisvale" is a badly made "More e-book than game" 2D retro pixel (sigh) "adventure" game where you play a detective investigating a missing person. Think of this as a crap RPG Maker asset flip with the JRPG gameplay removed, yet also somehow even worse than something made with RPG Maker (it is possible, as horrific as that thought may be). The cringey high school anime club dropout fan-fiction writing, however, is still there. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. This wasn't designed for typical widescreen monitors, it's locked to a bizarre 1:1 aspect ratio. No gaming PC has a 1:1 aspect ratio monitor, [i]they never made these.[/i] The decision to make a game that doesn't fit any PC monitor, not even a retro 4:3 monitor, then publish it on PC is a pants on head stupid design decision. It won't look right on modern PCs as a result of this bizarre decision to publish a PC game that doesn't conform to the standard display form factors, and this almost comes across as an insult. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This isn't free, they have their hand out for a $5 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to give them money from buying empty DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam.

Игра 'Karisvale' – это очаровательная инди-стратегия, подкупившая меня своим непринужденным геймплеем и приятной пиксельной графикой. В роли правителя небольшого поселения, нам предстоит развивать экономику, заботиться о потребностях жителей и защищаться от набегов. Механика игры проста в освоении, но обладает достаточной глубиной, чтобы удержать внимание надолго. Разнообразие зданий и профессий, а также необходимость балансировать между производством ресурсов и счастьем население, создают интересный вызов. Особенно порадовала атмосфера уюта и спокойствия, которую искусно передает визуальный стиль и расслабляющая музыка. Несмотря на кажущуюся простоту, игра заставляет задуматься о последствиях принимаемых решений, так как ошибки могут быстро привести к голоду и недовольству. Хотелось бы больше контента и разнообразия событий, но в целом, 'Karisvale' – это отличный выбор для любителей градостроительных симуляторов, желающих отдохнуть и расслабиться за увлекательным геймплеем. A hidden gem.

Ce jeu est d'une profondeur extrême, je me sens transporté dans le fabuleux monde de Karisvale en découvrant l'horreur et le calvaire des IA dans leur monde. On vit dans une Simulation.... Un pur chef d'oeuvre. Merci Timothé le goat
