KARDS, The World War II Card Game, combines traditional CCG gameplay with innovative mechanics inspired by classic strategy games and real battlefield tactics. Take command and challenge other players in grand-scale warfare on the ground, air, or seas.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.

I’ve managed to climb to Gold 2, and I’m not exactly playing some garbage deck—I’ve put time into building the best deck I can. But at this point, what’s even the reward for trying? Every game takes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever. You sit there watching your opponent draw a million cards, cycle through half their deck, and take an eternity to make every decision. It’s not engaging strategy anymore; it’s just waiting for the other player to finish their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ turn. And if you don’t play the current meta—and apparently don’t want to build your entire collection around the newest expansion—good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ luck. The new weather cards have pushed the game even further toward the same handful of strategies, and playing anything outside that ecosystem feels like voluntarily signing up to get stomped. And before anyone looks at my Steam playtime and thinks they know how much I’ve played: Steam hours do not represent my actual playtime. I’ve spent a significant amount of time playing KARDS on mobile, so the hours shown on Steam are nowhere near the full picture. I’ve played enough of this game to know exactly what I’m complaining about. The worst part is that KARDS used to have something going for it. Now it feels like the developers have completely lost sight of what made the game fun. They’ve taken a game that could reward clever deckbuilding and tactical play and turned it into an exhausting grind where every match feels longer, slower, and more predictable than the last. And then there are the microtransactions. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The monetization is already aggressive, but when the competitive environment increasingly feels like “keep up with the latest cards or get ♥♥♥♥♥♥,” it becomes even harder to swallow. Ranked doesn’t exactly make it worthwhile either. You grind your way up for what? Bragging rights and a shiny reminder that you once managed to hit Field Marshal? The actual rewards barely justify the time investment. KARDS didn’t need to be reinvented. It needed to preserve what worked and build on it. Instead, this update feels like the developers took a game they already had, threw a bunch of increasingly obnoxious mechanics and monetization on top of it, and somehow managed to make the whole experience less fun. I genuinely want to like this game, but right now it feels like 1939GAMES has completely and utterly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ its own game.
