Predator: Spooky Walking Simulator Redux DX: The Dilloning (aka:"Kach") is a game where you must explore the dwelling of your missing friend, Dillon. Despite being a hideous space monster, he helped you to learn English, he's a real sexual Tyrannosaurus with the ladies, and his heart is as big as a house. You've had your differences in the past, but it's all water under the bridge. You owe it to him to find out what is happening. As you arrive, you start to get a sense of something awry. It's almost as if there's something out there... and it ain't no man. You've had combat training though, so you decide to stick around and have you some fun. "Showtime, kid", you tell yourself, "I sure hope that whatever is here isn't one ugly MF, but if it bleeds, I can kill it". You hear the noise of stealthy movement behind you, and your blood runs cold as you hear a whispered "turn around... turn around... over here...", and at that point all that you are able to do is bellow forth a terrified scream... "UUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!" You MUST turn around. You MUST face this terror. You slowly turn... and standing there is your friend, Dillon, a huge grin plastered on his face. "HAHAHA! GOT YOU! What's the matter, been pushing too many pencils?" "Dillon, where have you been? I thought that maybe you got dropped into the meat grinder again, and I'd have to cook up some story." "Heh heh, no, old buddy, I've been flying around in my chopper. Took me a few days to get to it. The pathway is over there, past them trees. I guess I should have told you, huh?" "Dillon, you son of a b*tch. Don't spook me like that, I thought that you were going to kill me, and kill me now." "Anytime." If you actually want to know about the game, it's a spooky, short walking simulator in an almost thermal vision style. Why the devs went with this look is beyond me, and it isn't explained or anything, you're just a dude looking for his sister. It's not related to the Predator franchise, if that wasn't obvious, I just have way too much time on my hands. There's not really too much to say, it's not bad, but it's not great, and it is quite short and free, so check it out if you're looking for some quick spoops. I honestly had more fun writing this review lol, but the game isn't bad ;) If even ONE person laughs while reading this, I've done my job, and we're buds now. If you think I'm an idiot, well, you're not wrong, but trust me, I could have gone on :) "Anytime..." edit: don't ask me why the review is stretched out on the store page. I think it might be the mighty scream being too long. NOT CHANGING IT

It's relaxing, I recommend.
This game sells itself, so to speak, purely on atmosphere and aesthetic. And boy does it deliver on those fronts. Tense, moody, highly evocative, and terrific at making you feel uneasy. It's not long but it's well worth a try - and hey, it's not going to burn a hole in your pocket!
Very cool, very colorscaped, sound was very good
Interesting artstyle. 👍
Looooooooooove the visual style. Really really good!
I normally don’t have issues with photosensitivity or motion sickness in games, but the visual style in this game gave me a headache. The high-contrast colors were difficult on my eyes, which made it hard to enjoy the experience Also, please note that some reports & books need to be rotated in order for the text to trigger. Otherwise, u can’t progress to the next step (¬_¬")
"Kach" is not your usual Unity kitbashed amateur horror adventure, as they spent more time trying to make this look hideous than they did making a real genuine game (presumably out of a bunch of Unity assets and a godawfully ugly filter). What do you do in the game? There's thousands of these on Steam and this is one of the worst... this is a game in which you wander around a house, examine stuff, get your jumpscare on, only, you know, worse than all the others. The game is quite short, and can be run through in just 20 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 14 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? What's the verdict? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Was lead to this game from Eye 4 Eye, which is also a great FTP game. My playthrough for Kach is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7sqLu71x6w I love this crazy art style & color palette chosen for their games. It's unique & I appreciate that. Also appreciate Free to Play games, so thank you! Simple walk & click playthrough, kinda got tripped up at the end 'cause I got turned around. Love that it had at least one steam achievement but it coulda had a few more IMO! Shows up as a Perfect Game when you get the one achievement. Quick interesting game, check it out.
