THIS IS THE BEST GAME THAT I'VE EVER PLAYED SO FAR. THIS GAME IS WHAT SEPARATES MEN FROM BOYS. CURRENTLY STUCK AT LEVEL 29, OMG IT'S SO HARD. YOU THOUGHT SUPER MEAT BOY WAS COOL? WELL, YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A SISSY IF YOU THINK SO. GO TRY BEATING THIS GAME, INSTEAD OF BEATING THE MEAT, BOY. IF I WORKED AT IGN, I'D GIVE 10/10. BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT ONLY FAT SISSIES WORK IN THERE. THAT'S WHY I'M NOT WORKING AT IGN. AMAZING GAMEPLAY, VERY ADDICTIVE. SPECTACULAR MUSIC. SMOOTH ANIMATIONS. 100% SELF MADE ASSETS. CLEAR AND PRECISE CODING WITH ALL GOOD PRACTICES. IF ONLY BLIZZARD HAD SUCH DEVELOPERS, WE'D HAVE WARCRAFT 4, NOT ANOTHER DIABLO 2 REMAKE TO RIP OFF YOUR MONEY BECAUSE YOU'RE A NOSTALGIC FAT MAN. I'M TOTALLY GONNA TRY SPEEDRUNNING THIS GAME, TRY TO BEAT ME IF YOU RE BORED WITH BEATING YOUR MEAT, BOY. NO, BUT SERIOUSLY. AMAZING GAME. 11/10. MUST HAVE. GET A COPY FOR YOUR MOM, SHE DESERVES IT. SHE DID PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO RAISING YOU. BTW, IT IS CLEAR THAT THE PREVIOUS COMMENT BELONGS TO A MEAT BOY BEATER. DON'T BE A MEAT BOY BEATER. JUMP. DIE. LIVE. REPEAT.

I've played about 70 different lesser-known 2d platformers, and I've been adding them to a tier list. This game was one of the most enjoyable ones I've played and is in 5th place so far with an A ranking. I wanted to write this review in response to the negative review I saw. Whoever made that review and youtube video has NO IDEA what they are talking about, and they really need to learn what asset flipping is because this is definitely not that. From watching their youtube review, they only played 2 LEVELS. That's right. Only 2 LEVELS. Meanwhile, I played and beat 46 levels, so I know what I'm talking about. Here is my review for the game: Jump/Die/Live Ranking: A Difficulty: Hard A unique platformer where you jump only by clicking and dragging a direction to jump. The amount the player will jump depends on how far you drag the mouse. There is even an arc that shows approximately where you'll jump. Besides the mouse, there are no other controls, and there's no controlling your character once it's in the air. The game is really polished and has a bit of difficulty curve to it. Lots of unique obstacles combined with an interesting platforming mechanic really makes this game shine. Some of the controls were a bit hard to handle at times, and sometimes the jump arc isn't always accurate. However, it never felt like it was the game's fault whenever I died. It always felt very fair. Overall, a great experience for players looking for a challenging mouse-based platformer. Bu oyunu yenmeye hazır mısın? 50 seviye, 2 boss savaşı. Bu eşsiz 2 boyutlu platform oyununda sadece fare ile hareket edebilir, zıplayabilir, kayabilir, düşmanları öldürebilir, seviyeleri çözebilirsiniz!
Hi all o7 Very cool and enjoyable 2D platformer! The music is a bit loud and there are no sound settings. LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE! o7
Complete asset flip trash. No window/full screen option, no resolution settings, no audio settings, no settings at all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6k-36Qj44c Looks, plays and feels like a zero effort asset flip, though I couldn't find it with a brief search on the Unity Asset Store. This does NOT mean that I am wrong however in my feelings that is an asset flip. I've been doing this many, many years now, and It feels very low effort. All it takes to see the amount of care this developer has for this game is to look at the two sentence description of the game on the store page with no details at all. .. A developer who actually took enough care to make this would likely care enough about it to write more on the Steam store page. ..Just sayin' NOT RECOMMENDED. ....If it looks like an asset flip... If it feels like an asset flip.. and if it plays like an asset flip...
"Jump/Die/Live" is a very mediocre 2D retro/minimalist platformer where the phoned-in graphics meet an equally phoned-in concept. The floor is lava, it's rising, you have to jump around to get to the exit point and obviously don't fall in the lava. What a time to be alive, this is surely the pinnacle of game design. Truly state of the art. The gameplay handling isn't the worst here but it's also not the best... Super Meat Boy had a million handicaps from terrible graphics onwards, but it overcame just because of the tight controls. Not so here. This features really godawful pixelcrap/minimalist "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $5 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
This is a CHALLENGING game, but not frustating. You will have about 6h of game, for the price is nice. There is no history, just jump, and die or live. All you need to play is a mouse, you dont need nothing else.
