Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 19 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It is a simplistic game where you have to guess a country based on their flag or important monuments. Mos tquestions are easy to answer if you have some knowlege about geography and history (or if you played some grand strategy games like me :D ) Got the game for a coupon so it only cost 50 cents. Not too expensive, not too difficult to complete (with or without guides) and it gives you cool achievements depicting different country flags (wish they included a Slovakia flag achievement instead of only the Czech Republic, alongside with adding more countries to the Quiz so we could, potentially, have every existing country's flag as an achievement). Overall, good game if you want to kill some time or get 100% achievements.
JQ: countries is a compact educational quiz that turns basic geography knowledge into a straightforward multiple-choice challenge. Developed and published by Snkl Studio, it avoids unnecessary complexity and concentrates on one simple idea: presenting a question and asking the player to identify the correct answer from four possibilities. This creates an experience that is immediately understandable, making it suitable for casual players, geography enthusiasts, achievement hunters, and anyone interested in testing how well they know countries around the world. The game provides two distinct quiz modes centered on capitals and sights. The capitals section tests whether players can correctly associate countries with their capital cities, while the sights category focuses on recognizable landmarks and their locations. Although both modes use essentially the same answering mechanics, they exercise different kinds of geographical knowledge. Remembering a capital relies largely on factual recall, while recognizing landmarks can involve visual memory and familiarity with world-famous locations. Having these two categories gives the otherwise minimal formula some welcome variety. With more than 70 levels, there is a reasonable amount of material to work through. Progression through individual stages also makes the experience feel more structured than an endless randomized trivia exercise. The four-choice format is particularly approachable because even players who are uncertain can use deduction to eliminate unlikely answers. Getting something wrong can still become part of the learning process, since repeated exposure to countries, capitals, and landmarks may gradually reinforce information that the player previously did not know. Its educational qualities should nevertheless be viewed within the limits of its design. This is primarily a quiz rather than a comprehensive geography-learning application. It tests knowledge more than it teaches through detailed explanations, so players should not expect extensive historical information, cultural descriptions, maps, or encyclopedia-style entries accompanying every answer. That simplicity can actually be an advantage for people who simply want to practice geographical recognition without reading lengthy lessons, but it also means the experience has limited depth beyond its central trivia mechanic. The presentation follows the same uncomplicated philosophy. Everything is built around quickly delivering questions and letting players choose their answers without excessive distractions. The 2D visual approach is functional rather than spectacular, which is perfectly reasonable for this kind of game. Pleasant background music helps establish a relaxed atmosphere and makes repeated quiz sessions less sterile. Music is credited to Erwarda Savitnaag, while the game itself was created using Clickteam Fusion 2.5. The overall presentation may feel basic compared with more elaborate modern trivia titles, but it remains appropriate for a small educational project. Steam Achievements provide an additional incentive to continue playing, with 45 achievements available. This is especially appealing for completionists because progressing through the geography challenges is tied to a broader collection objective. Instead of answering questions solely for a score or personal satisfaction, players have tangible milestones to pursue. The achievement system does not fundamentally change the gameplay, but it gives the relatively simple structure greater purpose and potentially extends its appeal beyond people who are specifically passionate about geography. The game is exclusively designed around single-player play, so there is no competitive trivia mode for challenging friends or strangers. This reinforces its relaxed character, allowing players to proceed at their own pace without worrying about leaderboards or opponents answering faster. The absence of multiplayer is understandable given the small scale of the project, although competitive or cooperative geography modes could have significantly expanded its replay value. As it stands, this is better treated as a personal knowledge test than a party-style trivia experience. Language availability is another consideration. The Steam version officially provides interface support for English and Russian. Because virtually the entire experience revolves around understanding questions and possible answers, language comprehension matters considerably more here than it might in an action-oriented game. Fortunately, there is no complicated narrative or dialogue to follow, and the simple interface means players comfortable with either supported language should have little difficulty navigating it. Steam Deck compatibility is less certain. The Steam store page does not currently provide an official Valve Steam Deck compatibility rating for the game, so it should not be described as officially Verified or Playable. Its simple quiz-based design would theoretically be a good match for portable sessions, but the absence of an official compatibility classification means Deck users should be prepared for possible control, interface, or configuration issues. Using compatibility tools such as Proton may make it possible to run, but that should be regarded as unofficial rather than guaranteed functionality. The main drawback is ultimately repetition. Once the player has experienced both categories and become familiar with the available questions, there is relatively little mechanical evolution waiting underneath. There are no complex progression systems, strategic elements, narrative components, or major gameplay surprises. Players seeking a deep educational package may therefore find it limited. Conversely, that same minimalism makes it effective for short sessions because there is practically no learning curve, setup, or commitment required before getting into the questions. As a small casual geography game, it succeeds by keeping its objectives realistic. Snkl Studio delivers a simple knowledge test with two complementary modes, more than 70 levels, relaxing music, and a generous collection of achievements. It is not ambitious enough to replace a dedicated educational program, nor varied enough to satisfy players searching for a sophisticated trivia experience, but it provides an accessible way to exercise geographical knowledge. For players who enjoy memorizing capitals, recognizing famous sights, collecting achievements, or simply discovering gaps in their knowledge of the world, there is enough here to make the experience worthwhile. It is not even worth the 49 cents I paid. It says 70+ levels so I thought ok it must be decent. Nope. It is more like one level. The countries are not even random. It is the same order each game you play. It only has 35 flags and 35 attractions/monuments. If it actually had all countries and random it would be decent.
Two types of questions - flags and sights. Flags has at least one incorrect answer, sights only focuses on very famous sights and in only a handful of countries. Locations of questions don't change, the possible answers don't change, and the location of the correct answer doesn't change. Can be solved by trial and error.
