JIJI THE BAJILLIONAIRE

Game so Goated it made me want to sacrifice my first born child to the developer, pretty good ngl for a first timer, strong visuals and decent core gameplay mechanics.

[h1] Fun small game but has a lot of problems that become frustrating[/h1] Jiji The bajillionaire is a fun little platformer with a very fun concept, basically you can't move but only dash in particular directions whtn you collect little "dash nodes" (don't know what they're called). And the concept works pretty well, the level design is pretty interesting and from what i've seen the different levels offer a good variety of mechanics to keep it fresh. However the games falls short on a lot of small things. Basically the game becomes [b]VERY[/b] difficult for no reason from time to time. The prologue and the first real level were nice, the 2nd level was very fun too, but then one of the last screens of the 2nd levels require to be SUPER precise and is veeeeery long for a level this early. and the game has multiple difficulty spikes like that, 2 levels later one of the screen toke me a WHIIIIILE because you had to do a series of dash through a bunch of spike corridors on a really long screen, and the timing to go through without touching tose spikes are very precise and sometimes the collision detected me touching them even though i wasn't visually. Unfortunately I didn't finish the game because of this, I think if the game was playtested correctly the difficulty curve would of been way mor balanced and would make the game way more enjoyable. But then I know the dev is making this solo (I think (or at least a very small team)), so I know it's not easy to get difficulty right when you're alone making a game. I would still recommand the game though, I personally got it for under 2€ during a sale and the core concept was still really fun. I believe with a little more playtesting and polish the dev could make some really cool games :)

It would be great to have mouse support and achievements,but I still really like the game.

A very unique and fresh take on platformer. Definately a must play for anyone who wants a challenge, really liked the the atmoshere and its becomes very satisfying after clearing up a tough space after stucking there. You can either meticulously plan ahead your path or daam all and go all out following your instinct.

Quaint little game. I've def got a few issue with this (like how dying takes much longer to respawn than simply restarting a room) but overall its a nice little puzzle platformer.
