I like the story of the games.

Tried for 2 hours to fix the problem with the mouse. I give up

This game is hard to rate because it comes with flaws, many flaws, but is till enjoyable if one can accept the flaws as part of the game. I completed the story line decades ago so my rating is based on the tournament mode. The tournament mode is not a head to head event. The names your are playing against are sometimes made up names for a random / recorded event. Other times the names are real and the play is real but the person is not playing at that time, it is a recorded play. If you beat someone, they don't even notice because it is not recorded in their score. If someone beats you, they do not get scored for that game because they are not playing at that time. Multiple player options: Be aware that playing more than one player on Steam has a fault that can be devastating for your scoring. If you have more than one player ID on the game, wining on one account can leave the other account to take an unreasonable loss. I have to game IDs on the same game: Tourguide and Just4Fun. When I switched from Just4Fun too Tourguide, I had one loss on the Just4Fun after playing one 5 rounds on Tourguide and winning all 5, I switched back to Just4Fun which I play for fun rather than to win. Still showing 1 loss; however, my rating was brought down by 531 points. This is not possible in JQ3 so I believe the game is recording the 5 wins from the Tourguide play as losses for the Just4Fun play even though The later was not playing. (I have images but cannot supply them on this page as it isn't allowed.) If you want to play the alt game, quit the game completely, then restart and select the new player name. This is what I normally did and there were not issues. Another issue with the game is the Forced Losses: If the player wins several boards in a row without leaving the game, closing it, the game produces a forced loss scenario. (When you get there you will notice) The situation results in jewel locks and free fall eliminations. If you close the game before winning too many in a row, (not sure what that number is exactly as I log out of the game after winning 5 in a row) and return and play well, you can avoid most forced losses. Ratings are based on the stats from your state page. Percentage of loss/wins and percentage of above global average. No one sees your current rating so it isn't that important. If you can make it past the flaws, it can be a fun game. I have played it for decades and still enjoy the 'zen' quality of click and swipe. I would mark the recommend except not everyone wants a game that is flawed. The rating system does not allow for a 'maybe' recommendation.

I love the challenge the puzzles provide and the story that goes along with it! <3

One of our Granddaddies of Match-3 games. It's a classic. Five difficulty levels and challenge that ranges from easy to difficult. (On latter boards you will need strategy to beat them, although, even if you do play well, there's still some luck involved.) After you complete the game the first time through, you are boosted to Level 2 difficulty in which explosive hazard icons are added to the mix. After that there are three more difficulty levels that each add another wrinkle to the icon mix. This match-3 game is way better than 80% of the other games on the market that I've played. The graphics are a little dated, but the gameplay more than makes up for them. Decent story too.
