Еще одна техно демка на анриле, очень красивая и на этом все, ни сюжета не какого-то испытания просто мочим ботов в вр, есть поддержка клавы - удобно. Пожалуй не буду рекомендовать, ибо такое надо бесплатно раздавать.
Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
This is a small-arena 360 wave shooter with full locomotion and smooth and snap turning options. It has one map. The one map looks pretty nice but it's also pretty small and doesn't have any objects to interact with. It's all window dressing. There are 3 different guns (and a shield) and a few different robots, including a pretty big mini-boss type robot. The game feels like a demo (and is described as such by the developer in the EA description). I played this game for about 30 minutes and got to the 18th wave. I could have possibly gotten farther, but the gameplay was just too repetitive and I got really bored. I didn't want to continue playing. The gun mechanic wasn't really good, it had an arcade feel, but didn't feel fast-paced enough and weapons lacked impact. You can see the bullets bend as you move while firing. The AI for the robots was also pretty dumb, you can basically corner them and they lose sight of you. Game is running on the Unreal Engine. I did notice some frame rate drops, but I lowered the graphics settings from ultra to high and it seemed to be running fine after that. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs. However, this game has some very long loading screens. If there is one best way to describe this game, it is bland. It's a bland (small) arena wave shooter. It's not worth $5 and should be a free to play demo in its current state. It is in Early Access and has the potential to be a much better experience with a lot of work put into it. However, as it stands now, there are much better wave shooters than this one. I would recommend Propagation VR over this and that's a free (stand-still) wave shooter. Rate 3.5/10. Dated gameplay that has been done better in other wave shooters.
Please note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program. JEI VR is very much a budget version of Robo-Recall, only if that said budget was less than the price of a Big-Mac meal. But I feel I am being a tad harsh there because the small city landscape you get to play in looks OK as do the Robo-Recall inspired robots. With just 3 main guns (all of which you can dual-wield) and a small handful of enemy robots, this goes doesn't offer a lot at all. But what it does offer is a small amount of mindless shooting in a nice sci-fi environment. Sure, there isn't a lot to this game at all, but it only costs £3.99 and is currently on sale for just £3.19! You should just about get your money's worth here, but do remember that you are not paying a lot in the first place.
Well.... Game costs only 4€. It was hard to decide if I will leave good or bad review because of this fact. I decided to leave bad review... Game is bad optimized, loadings are long. There are almost no settings (like walking speed etc.) Game mechanics are very bad and non-original.... It's wave shooter on very small area, with very boring enemies. Only one thing about this game I like are wapon models which looks pretty good. Rest is boring and I'm not enjoying it. Propagation VR is free VR game. If it would be at least this level of game, it will be ok to pay for it 10€ or maybe more. But this is not worth even that 4€ for me... But game is in early access. I will check it later again. If game will be worth at least 4€ in future, I will change my review to good one.
It's a fairly fun game. For $5, it would be worth having in your steam library.
